@wanderlimaga you are misinformed. Bikini Atoll is an awesome dive spot now, it was cleared of radioactivity and declared safe to dive many years ago. I know, I've been there/dove there! Get your facts straight. I do agree with you on one thing, that maybe the (necessary) testing should have been done elsewhere...the middle east would have been the best place for that!!

They had no way of knowing for sure if they were setting off a chain reaction that would just continue to infinity, I find it interesting that since the time we started with nuclear technology we began getting the reports of UFOs in such numbers... Incredibly, rats that lived in the Atoll survivied and thrived after the blast, even stronger.
