Espero no arrepentirme.

wow,. i like this sound.. how did u made ths?.... tell me?.. plz dude.. bcos i have ths me30,. and im not good in making sounds.. im going to wait ur answer.. hehe.. thats rock!..
@mformassive i have me30 too so let me tell ya this pretty sounds is due his amp, but anyway... try to put low trebles, quite middle and moderate bass in EQ, then choose metal or hard in OD/DS chanel between 60 and 80 in level, and tune other parameters in a moderate levels, add room in RV pedal, wirh 60-70 level... just try and essay thats all... xcuse my awful english hehe
I've now changed my pedal to BOSS GT-6, just because I wanted more memory banks and amp simulations, but I still think that ME-30 is an excellent pedal if you just need the basic effects.
you have the same gear as mine, but i use the tubeking for distortion now and ME30 for modulation only. still using it after 10+years of having this thing on my floor.
how satisfied are you with this pedal? what are the pros and cons of it? im pretty sure i am gonna get this but i want to know as much about it as i can before i make the purchase
hey. thanks for watching. If you want to get this pedal, your only chance is second hand, as it's been discontinued. The pedal is great, it is very easy to use, it's light and comfortable to carry, you have most of BOSS usual effects in one device. It has 10 user patches, and 10 preset. It is also ready for headphones. The only con, as you say it, would be that the display is liquid cristal with no light at all, and somewhat small. It is great value for its price.
hey, just one thing I wanted to clear up for you. When I said 10 user patches and 10 preset, I meant 10 banks !! That is 3 memory patches per bank, so a total of 30 possible combinations of effects, plus 30 preset from factory.
ive only had one eectric guitar and its a black lyon same pickups and body as yours but would you say its a good guitar for metal music because ive heard less pauks are better please comment back
Generally speaking, Les Pauls, together with Fenders, are said to be the best guitars in the world (depending on the model, of course). But ,when it comes to metal, there are other brands that have specific designs for metal music, including killer pick ups, thin necks, straigth fretboards, etc,...which are better for fast playing, as metal requires...Ibanez, Washburn, Jackson, ESP are excellent guitars for metal. Think of Steve Vai, Metallica, Megadeth,.....they don't play Gibsons !
metal does play gibson... james hetfield plays a gibson explorer, v, and the les paul and gets amazing metal tone... the older metallica albums like the 1st 1 he played the V
Dude, it's been years since Hetfield's been using ESP guitars, although it's true that these guitars imitate classic Gibson's shapes like explorer and Les Paul, but they are ESP. You can check it out in most of James' live pictures, and ESP website. You will also see there's a ESP Hetfield signature collection. Also, Dimebag used Dean guitars, not Gibons,... Megadeth has used Jacksons for years,... Scott Ian uses Washburn,...So, Metal is not Gibson, hard rock is.
it is true that james does play esp but thats not all he plays.. same with kirk hammett, he does not always use esp they use gibson as well.. dime did use dean also washburn when dean went out of business. dave mustang used jackson before but now hes endorsed by dean guitars just like james and kirk r endorsed by esp.. did u know james even used a Ken Lawrence Explorer :O lol hell kirk and james hav even played fender guitars.. and i dont need to look at a website to know this lol
Then you come to my point. Metal players are best known to player other guitars different than Gibson. Of course they have and play other guitars, I am sure Hetfield has hundreds of guitars, and so does Hammet or whoever it is and of course he must have Gibson's, it is one of the best guitars, as I already told in my first comment. You do what you want, but if I have to cover Guns N Roses, I want a Gibson , and if it's Fear Factory, I am sure a Jackson or ESP fits better. If I had the money !
i own a Les Paul standard, i could egt any metal tone i want from heavy metal to thrash metal, the amp also plays a factor in the metal sound along with the guitar, i hav no problem changing strings, the sound of my amp . sometimes i tune as low as B standard and get a slipknot sound or just stay and standard E for a classic sound. look at Zakk Wylde he only plays Les Pauls and gets amazing metal sound but the point is out there that metal players hav a wide variety of guitars to choose from
I would give at least an 8 for its overall quality, ease of use and price. I got it second hand for 90 EUR, comes with all classic boss effects, compressor, vintage/blues/warm/hard/metal/fuzz dist., noise supresor, equalizer, flanger, tremolo, pitch shifter, chorus, delay, reverb, expression pedal which you can set as wah or volume. It also has cromatic tuner
Contras: lack of light in the display, and I wish it had 20 or 30 xtra user patches instead of the 30 presets which are useless,..
yes! i totally agree on the less is more thing. i think that some people just use way too many effects at times.
anyway, thanks again for answering my question. enjoy your WI66 Pro, i really would love to get on of those once i can save up enough cash. right now, i'm using the WI26. pretty solid guitar in my opinion (considering the price). hehe :)
nice playing dude. and i've always loved the WI66 Pro. and i am actually pretty amazed at the sound your getting with your ME-30. anyway, i have a question. does your version of the WI66 have the VCC or the push/pull coil split thing? thanks!
Hi there! Thanks for the nice comment. Yes, my version of the WI66 has the VCC system on both pickups. It changes the sound of the pick up from hambucker to single coil. I always use it on the hambucker position though. The ME30 is quite effective and easy to use. One just needs to play with it a little bit to obtain good results. In spite of all the effects you can use, sometimes "less is more", and the simplier effect you choose, starting with a bypass, the better the results !!
hey dude, i really like the tobacco burst washburn WI66. i am an experienced guitarist and i own a les paul classic. how is the VCC cause i've read some complaints about it. if you dont pull the tap does it effect anything? thanks.
If you are talking about coil tapping all that means is that if your knob is in normal setting its going to be a humbucker, you pull the coil tap up and it becomes a single coil.

Yes,....quite comfortable to play. It is slim, more than a gibson, but less than Jackson or Ibanez.
