What's a difference between a elevated embankment and a elevated train station? Please answer my question.

One is over the street and the other is somewhat ground level!

Hmmmm ..... I seen them over the Brighton Line at East 15th street in Brooklyn. Does the elevated tracks have holes and the elevated embankment doesn't have any holes?

Hole as in space inb/w the track ifs like that when the trains are elevated and when it's embankment the spaces inb/w the track is filled with gravel or pebbles!
