I think Girardi knows his baseball and will be a good manager, but it is clear that the Yankees were much happier under Torre and they liked playing for him much more.

This interview speaks a thousand words, although Torre probably only said a hundred. It would be wrong to fire Torre- it's not his fault the Yankees lost. Everyone loves Torre, and as that lone fan said, "Thanks Joe". He has been the best manager of all time, and still is. His players love him, and I know that I love him. The only reason the Yankees didn't win the division this year is because they hired some low-life physical trainer (who should be in jail), that took money to blow-out many important players' hamstrings.
