When i finally saw this movie I knew exactly what he was talking about. There it was before my own eyes. @123barriejohn I agree this is a lovely ending however this was the ending (version) for the american audience. The Directors cut (Original Italian ending) of the film continues on for 30-40mins and explains a little bit more. But you're right what an amazing ending! :)

well, i watched this video a while back because i was looking for the theme song and changed it halfway through the video thinking, what is this i just want the song (having never seen the movie) and didnt even think twice about what this video was. Then a few weeks ago i came across the movie and when it got to this part, i almost broke down in tears.
