Although it has to be admitted that they solved the problem of the XAAM chaos in the online, but making a big gameplay sacrifice.

@TheHeroofShadows000 Speaking of Strangereal, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy came out for the 3DS on the 15th.

Despite the name, it's a remake of Ace Combat 2, and it takes place in Strangereal. Has a lot of gameplay elements from the other games; customizable parts from X, ace squadron battles from Zero, maneuvers system from Assault Horizon ... all in 3D. it's been really fun.

Hmm...I've played alot of the old AC games back in the day. The thing I liked about the series was the gameplay, very enticing and fun to learn how to do, and the storyline; I liked the originality of the country names; since the old ones didn't have actual country names from rl, there was really not much reason for arguments to start up, not to mention it left alot of room for creativity, but now since I've been hearing that this one delves into actual rl...meh..I feel it limits them alot more.

It does look like it won't be "the same or better," especially regarding the storyline, as the entire storyline of Ace Combat was based on a fictional universe where everything was malleable and could be shaped the way they wanted to make it. When it's in our world, those possibilities become limited to our problems. Gameplay means nothing if the story is rubbish, imo. x:

It means it has more than likely lost quality in some way or another. I honestly don't expect a thing from this game, so I might buy it once it's 20 bucks, but other than that - no thanks. Those who honestly loved the game for what it used to be will just wait for AC7 anyways. Lastly, you're probably the one wasting your own time the most, as you are replying.

I'm a huge fan of the Ace Combat series, but I'm honestly not impressed with the demo. The entire F-22 mission was a scripted event, not much player control. I really hope it's because it's a tutorial mission.
