  • I had the same flicker problem as seen in the vid, but i returned it and got a new one without flickering! Good luck

  • your TV is Faulty ! because i own this screen and i dont get this issue and i play the same game ! ! !

  • i have an HD 4870 ATI GPU, turning down the refresh rate from 60Hz to 50Hz completely solved this problem. It was only a problem with the 60 Hz. Don't know why, because a friend of mine has the same tv with refreshrate 60Hz via PC, but he has a GeForce GTX 275. so it's maybe a problem with ATI cards @ Hz!

  • I have the same problem. I'm working out a solution with the shop as we speak. Hopefully I can get a new one since I bought this TV only a week ago.

  • UPDATE: Get a Samsung engineer to repair it. He will need to replace the hardboard and it will be alright. This is something that happens with 1 out of 10.000 products, I guess it's just a production error on their part. The engineer replaced a component and the problem didn't occur afterwards.

  • All saying is your screwed. i had this problem with the same model, it took 2months to get a replacement. better off contacting samsung about that.

  • i have exactly the same problem. Do you by any chance have a ATI 48XX GPU ? I connected the GPU with the HDMI2-port of the LCD. when i turn off the tv or change the source till i reach HDMI2 again, the problem disappears for about 5 - 10 min and then the shit starts again...

  • Got this too. Whenever i sswtich it on it starts to flicker after a minute or two. But then it dissappears after 5+ minutes.

  • i have the same tv.....no problems

    ps3 + samsung le40a656= so nice

    the tv-version is SQ01

  • SQ01 is the best, i got it, too

    HAHAHAHA^^

  • dam :(i get this tv after 2 days i hoppe it works fine 4me :#

  • Hi, got the same TV aswell, connected to PC through HDMI and have the same problem.

I turn the TV off and on and the problem stops but comes back after a while.

  • get a replacement there is no fix my new one is fine

  • Thx for the reply.

I will get a replacement and post bk if the problem is solved or not.

  • Late reply; but found out on the PC you can change the screen refresh rate for the TV.

I changed it from 60hz to 50hz and this has solved the problem.

Hope this helps anyone who has this issue.

  • exactly it turning off the tv just delays the problem for 5-10'

  • I have a ATI 3870.

I found that "if you have the same stup as me" you can chang the refresh rate to 50Hz insted of the defalt 60Hz, this might make the screen go into a letterbox.

To change open the Catalyst Control Crnter - DTV (HDMI) - Scaling Options.

Move the slider to fit scrteen.

    Hop this helps.

  • Hi tom,

i don't have a ps3 only a xbox360, when i set my xbox to 720p there is no flickering at all.

i phoned samsung and send a email to the shop. and now i wait for response.

the replacement you will get is that the same tv or do you chose a different brand.

  • Hi Dennis,
