I love Bram Stoker's Dracula and the other classics that made Vampires worth watchin,reading,and loving. I hate how stuff like Twilight and these other stupid teen dramas portray vampires. All you here of vampirs nowadays is like I say Twilight, there is never any new material for the traditional horror stand point of vampires.

@straightpimpin888 - Actually they are. Just as people are different, Vampires are different. The only thing they don't do to my knowledge, is sparkle. Well if they go out in sunlight they tend to sparkle before they burn up but!

And I will agree with you. I've yet to torture myself with Twilight but I have watched a lot of episodes of Vampire Diaries which I believe is influenced by sparkly Twilight.

Basically the rule is; As soon you toss "Teen" into the mix, it's going to suck 9/10 times.

@straightpimpin888 - Lestat of the Vampire Chronicles isn't exactly the most posetive of vampires. Then we have the whole World of Darkness universe. Heck, even Dracula could be considered emo-ish-ish as the whole reason he became a vampire was because he lost his love and damned god for it (who wouldn't?).

Alucard of Castlevania is, if anything, extreamly emo(tional), but that's never really considered because A) He is awesome, and B) Emo is considered bad.

In terms of them being emotional they express great Anger and Sorrow with other emotions I know, like I said I love both Bram Stocker's Dracula both in book and film. That would mean that the family who has been the greatest enemies of Dracula came from his very own bloodline! I'd love to see that angle played up more, personally.
