@Duncon1981 there are different types of thrash metal. Some of the best songs can have basic structures to them. keeping the music intense without getting dull is a challenge in itself. If i want something from the intense side of thrash metal, this is fantastic. I think of you as a fan of a certain type of thrash metal, that doesn't mean there is no value for this album/band in this subgenre that you dislike.

Kreator made music like this back in the day because they did not know how to write well composed melodic music like Maiden or Priest (they actually stated that themselves) . The vocals and backing vocals remind me of anthrax and the screaming reminds me of slayer. The guitar sound reminds me of slayer, and the chord changes remind me of Morbid angel and slayer combined.

I prefer to bring a dustbin lid into the house and hit it with a hammer. It's much more annoying that this.....this is great. I keep it next to my Perry Como records just to show how cool I am and down with the kids. Marylin Manson and thrash death vampire sacrifice cannibalism....oh it's just so cool. Then on to the islamic beheading videos. I love it. I'm nearly 70 years old too. I LOVE THIS STUFF. ITS COOL. BUT NOT HARCORE ENOUGH FOR ME. THE BEHEADINGS ARE MUCH BETTER.
