Lolz low 14 sec in 1/4? Track was semi wet but then again, its a bit too slow. My 05 sti with no tune but an hks intake, hks bov and exhaust does 13.1 sec on a good day. The best looking sti would have to be the 04-05 sti.

The 2007 sti has 12hp less than the 2011 yet faster in the 1/4 subaru is going backwards in engineering any sti '06 and up blows INSTEAD of making cars that are cool & fast there slow and ugly i can't tell the difference between it a kia & any other piece of SHIT car made today not to mention the greatest sti ever made the version 3 sti 340hp@ the crank compared to the 2011's 305hp@ the crank & 800lbs heavier the 2011 would be crushed, humiliated by a 16 year old car with 16 year old technology

In my opinion, the only view that makes the 2007 sexier is from behind. Comparing from the side and especially from the front there is just no way. However, the rear of the 2011 is weaker than the 2007.

07 is a good STI if you dont wanna spend $35,000 but the 2011 is soo much cooler looking. I've seen both in person, the 2011 looks soo much better in person and looks best in red even over the rally blue or even black.

Sorry, this is not better looking than the 06-07 STI. That car looked good in any trim, even the 2.5i. For this new sedan STI they had to add huge fender flares and ridiculous looking body molding and spoilers to distract you from the fact that the base Impreza is not that good looking. There's just too much going on, not to mention it looks fat. The 06-07 Impreza was simple and looked great in any trim, even the wagon.

I like both. But your truly mistaken if you think that 07's where the best. You played Russian roulette with the 07 EJ257. Some would crack ringlands at 30k miles bone stock. Some would last like the previous 04-06 set ups.

05 was the best IMO. Best exterior look w/ the rear fender flares, 17x8 BBS's, Fist year with the interior change, great motor, great trans. Just get rid of the crappy VF39 and get a GT52 or FP green.

Really? I did the 1/4 in 13.67 in my 2010 WRX (not STI). Not an expert in launching, and I've had much worse times, but the faceless driver needs to learn how to launch. He can drive around the twisties, but I wonder what the elevation and temp were, and if that was a factor. I know the stock WRX only has a 5 speed and with the right driver can beat the STI to 60, but these seem like pretty bad 1/4 times.
