  • circle J BOYZ are back!

  • sounds tasty cuz of the brown sugar :D

  • i put this on my ribs, i hope they turn out good

  • and he rolls it up like it's weed

  • BBQ ya gotta love it!

  • Hey, could you write the ingredients of the sauce? I've understand the meassuring but I couldn't get the ingredients. Brown sugar, pepper, garlic?, ..?

I'm really interested in this recipe, so if you could answer i would be really thankful!

  • @angelorz66 Go to their website, you can find it on sauces marinades rubs section. Hope ya find it :P

  • Thank you for the video I now have a new rub for my ever growing BBQ arsenal.

  • nice introduction picture. 3 rifles and a chainsaw. woot.

  • @ieatpussy4meryenda

LMAO I never even noticed that, it is still a awesome video.

  • man i wish finland had more american food =/ we are quite american but its hard to find some good american barbeque. but with these videos i might finally make some

  • THANK YOU for this recipe. I put it on chicken and people think I'm some kind of BBQ genius. Everybody wants the ingredients after eating it.

  • I made this rub and it knocked my socks off.....Also use it on pork steaks. My buddy had to know how to make it so I gave him the ingredients list...I find that when rubbing it on you want to make a slurry with apple juice...Just enough to melt it all together....I reduce the cayenne for the wife. Man. This is good.

  • This is delicious on rib eyes. It was the best steak I've ever had.

  • omg i made this dry rub for ribs and i used what was left after i put in on the ribs for bbq sauce i used the dry rub ketchup and water thats it and it turned out too be the best sauce i ever tasted thank you for this recipe im forever in your debt

  • could you substitute the brown sugar with demerara sugar?

  • Looks like those were tablespoons not teaspoons for the garlic and onion powder.

  • next time put the music down cant hear wtf your saying lmaoo

  • hey lithuanian1992, try HQ mode so you'll get a stereo feed, Then crank up your amp, (1,000 watt minimum) kick back and watch how ya make this brown sugar dry rub.....! You'll be hearin' us real guuuud.. :)

  • hahahaa thanks worked good.. i have only 500 watt speakers, but HQ definitely helped.

i love your videos so much, proud subscriber :D

  • Nice. I'm gonna try this today. Got a nice looking tenderloin waiting in the fridge.

  • Why is he whispering? It's not a secret anymore if you post it on YouTube.

  • has anyone tried this? if so what were the results?

  • that voice!!

  • four table spoons....wasnt tat like more?

  • as huge as my head i guess

  • mmmmm.....

  • Sounds and look delicious! Sorry about the ignorance, but then how do You use the rub? "Polverize" it on the beef, ribs, wtv while it's on the grill?

  • NOO THIS VID MADE ME HUNGRY AS BBQ xD

  • Could you use garlic clove, instead of garlic powder?

  • Well the reason why hes using powder is because it's supposed to be a "Dry" rub. If you use a clove of garlic generally your garlic (after you get it out of all the mess it comes in) is generally moist best to try to keep it as dry as possible.

  • Thanks!

  • barbecue Slow cooking method if you think the recipe tasting like SHIT as you say wild mamoron try cooking with it. BAR CODE the salt gets burned off from the 8 - 10 HOURS OF slow cooking on the Q mmmmm them ribs so good make you wanna slap yo mamma.

  • those are mens men, heart attacks don't faze them..im sure they have four consecutive heart attacks while they scarf down 12lbs of ribs, and just burp it off lol.

  • LOL, probably.

  • yum yum yum.. mmmmmhmmmm

  • Why is there so much spam on this awesome video?. Anyway I agree that this is the voice of BBQ

  • This guy sounds like he likes bbq. if bbq had a voice it would be this guy's.

  • bbaction101" Tried it. My Laptop is now fucked up. This is pretty awsome!

  • i wish my inner voice was like the one on this video.

  • that guy voice sounds kool

  • I just got done eating my Memorial Day ribs cooked with a close version of this Rub. The eaters (non vegitarian) seemed to enjoy - especailly the Dry. I did one batch of wet and the sauce drowned it. For the fans of wet - tell em to have it on the side and dip.

Got a question to the folks who posted the vid. I am starting to get tired of cooking for other people and want to take a break (execpt grilling for myself). However, I am the only one who knows how to do it? Suggestions?

  • bock123456781011" Stop being selfish.

  • You are probably an eater not a cooker. I can tell. Go ask your mother if she ever got tired of fixing your food for you.

  • To-go meals, fast food, or tell them to get off their asses and get some cooking recipe. You could try teaching them so later on you won't have necessarily do all those stuff. Cooking can be taught.

  • I am not trying to be a smart ass about my comment. i just knowing it does make a difference in cooking. Having made my own basic rubs and sauces, it does make a difference. And there are people out there that are writing recipes word for word. I "wing" it a lot of times myself. Just whatever looks "right" and tastes good. Just want people to enjoy BBQ and wish everyone well have have good eats!

  • I think I came too fast. Where's the Cummin?

  • that spoon you keep refering to as a teaspoon looks like a Tablespoon, are you trying to throw us of the trail?? :)

  • i can have an opinion i'am american and drunk now happy memorial day

  • needs better sound volumee

  • This rub was actually really good. I am glad I used a charcoal grill for this one.

  • Teaspoons my ass. Try about heaping tablespoons.

  • his hands are just small...

    haha LOL

  • ...

  • wow that is way off the racist scale

  • I'll probably try this--I'll tweak it a bit of course. ^___^ I happened to have all those ingredients in the kitchen and I've never made a dry rub before. :3 Whether the measuring is off or not, I'm sure he was just trying to give an estimated amount--he probably does it without measuring. But dry measuring cups/spoons would help to be exact--mostly for me anyway since it's my first time. ^___^;;

  • LOOOOOOOL

  • Mr. Pooh... You are from Austria. Shut that hole in your face, people from Austria are not aloud to have opinions.

  • Hm.. a man never grows up... Don't say what you don't want to be done to you

  • At least we know how to make good BBQ. Let us enjoy our holiday, you asshole.

  • wow

  • Nice!

  • rctvygbuni

  • lmao newbs learn to use the right measuring cups

  • wtf

  • wow i've been looking for a good dry rub recipe .for my ribs. awesome thnx

  • I love BBQ!

  • frrfgggg

  • Hey, thanks 4 this video. Good stuff.

  • Uhh, will you be able to taste whatever it is you're cooking after you drown it in that rub? It just seems a touch much.

  • lol

  • try closeing the bag much faster :/

  • i want some brown suga on my beef hahahahaha!!!!!!

  • Yeah, but God made men to barbecue. They are the ones that always, even in nomadic tribes, are known as the "Meat cookers" Women do more mundane food tasks, like the veggies, and bread. Barbecue is in a man's blood. And they are great at it. I don't know too many women who even want to get involved with it. It is so smokey and kind of gross. I love men. You guys are great--for so many reasons.

  • Really?

  • hell yeah!!!!!.....i'm from chile....and here.....a weekend, party....reunion....without bbq...it's nothing.....if god gave man a gift...that's the talent with the grill!!!!

  • Women who get down and dirty=my kind of girl

  • I agree with what you are saying it's something that it's in our genes...for example in Argentina like in Chile we have bbq (asados) and usually men grill the meat, and woman make the salads the dressing and so on...but of course this is not a rule I bet there is good woman griller out there ...

  • America is pro at BBQ. nice rub

  • that is way to much of salt, and paprica lol....wtff

  • that post i jsut made was to stinkydroolface, i LOVE YOUR RUB BTW! GREAT VID!

  • WHy are u using a liquid measure for dry ingredients?

  • the writing on the measuring cup was Mandarin....so we winged it! -BBQ Pit Boys

  • LMAO I know!

  • you are a complete imbecellic fool, it does not matter what the fuck kind of measuring cup it is, you fucking idiot, its stil the same 1/4 or 1/2 or 3/4 or 1 cup as any other measuring utensil. your the most idiotic person i have ever met. i was not even a youtube member, and after this post i became one just so i can make a fool out of you. fuck you.

  • what a loser you are!!

  • because the guy is a pro at what he does, he really doesn't need to measure at all. So he made a little error on you tube, and one person gets all annoyed. Big deal. It is a wonderful recipe, and he was kind for sharing it with us. Um, I bet you have a lot of stuff from crate and barrel, or maybe williams sonoma is better for you. Just enjoy the recipe without looking for someone to pick on over something so insignificant.

  • @stinkydroolface Liquid measure? Even solids have volume.

  • @stinkydroolface were men, measuring aint that important

  • it is very nice

  • looks good

  • Awesome!!! That was great!!! Just one question, did you wash your hands?

  • this made me laugh a little because this man sounds like a really masculine cowboy but he's teaching us cooking ^_^

  • -a mans gotta eat!

  • we cook better than women!(no offense)

  • yum!

  • sss

  • lol

  • then stick with Food TV, dude! lol -BBQ Pit Boys

  • couldn't hear him because you were talking.

  • Wow, this is completely new to me. I never knew you americans made barbeque with just dry ingredients.

I dont understand how you apply it though? How do you make it stick to the chicken? Doesnt it just fall off?

I've been trying to rub BBQ sauce on before roasting in the oven or in the pan, without much luck. The flavour doesnt really get into the meat you know.

  • you would normally just lay it out in a layer and lay the meat on.normally never a problem with stickin.lol. i use dry rubs all the time. get alot more flavor i think.

  • Yeah, the American way was odd with my family when they came to America. We let our meat soak in a homemade marinade sauce overnight before grilling. It gets all the flavour in and it beats any BBQ I've ever tasted!

  • We use wet marinades, too. This is just an example of one of many MANY recipes for a rub or marinade. Your nationalistic attitude regarding food "The American Way was odd, blah, blah" is so boring already.

  • read it again carefully. I'm tired of people saying American stuff is "odd" or "not as good as what is from their country" I forget who I was replying to, but thats what he was saying.

  • I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I am Filipina-American...I do love American BBQ too. I just meant that the concept was very different to my family; I was just replying to Cetramarius's comment about the meat soaking in the flavour.

  • I just did ^^

  • The Dude abides.....

  • love your voice you make bbquing! sound sexy! let me chill out and listen on slow burn! sizzzzzzzzzzzzalin!ONE LOVE SERENYTI ps. is that your voice?

  • haha...I'm a guy...and hetero...and I agree with you

Too many cook shows have nasal sounding boys

  • i dont fear death i wait for it

  • FUCK YESS!!!!

  • asd

  • Looks and sounds great!

Though, that didn't look like 4 table spoons of salt and 2 teaspoons of garlic powder.. Maybe my eye-measuring is off? Either way, sounds yummy

  • good vids keep it up i like how its always simple like it should be without all the extra bs in other cooking vids like on tv

  • sweet

  • nice

  • Wonderful video, but for next time, lower the music volume, and raise the voice volume. It may just be my equipment, computer and old ears, but it was hard for me to make out what he was saying in some places.

    Thanks

  • happy veteran day. happy 4th july. later comrades.

  • OMG BBQ!!

  • Looks real good. It could do without Kenny Rogers narrating the video with that 70's porn music in the background though.

  • waylon jennings from the Dukes wasn't available (he moved on) so we had to do the VO ourselves. The 70's porn music still gets a rise out of most of fans so we went with it dude! -BBQ Pit Boys

  • lol! great recipes you guys have here for BBQ. I used all the spices that make up essence with the brown sugar for some good smoked BBQ pulled pork. What's the best cut of pork for pulled pork. I have used tenderloin but I crock potted it then put it in a skillet with the BBQ sauce on the grill for the smoke flavoring. I am next going to use a Pork Butt Roast indirect heat on the grill.

  • question?

will NOT having the celery seeds make that big of an effect

  • if you know what a celery seed tastes like

  • This is very cool I like it a lot, Please check out my channel as well and if you would be so kind to comment on my stuff as well, that will be very cool. Giving you a 5 star rating.!!!

  • OMFG this is the best these guys have the best channel on youtube

  • You mean PIP boy.

  • Pip-Boy (PIP stands for Personal Information Processor) is an electronic device manufactured by RobCo Industries, using ultra-modern super-deluxe resolution graphics, which coupled with its capability to store large amounts of information and transfer data to and from holodisks and from data tubes make it the obvious choice for the wandering explorer, the out-on-his-own newbie or the all-around survivalist expert.

  • Mmm delicious copypasta.

  • Fallout 3??

  • kool.

  • I do a similar rub but I add ground-up mustard seed. It goes well when I apply the vinegar/honey/mustard sauce while grilling....not too much though!! Enjoy!!

  • You forgot the kitchen sink.

  • cool

  • aiiiiiiiih bencong deh.....

  • oleeeeeeeeeee soinsssss fenimenso n

  • cool :)

  • werk yer fingars in der

  • Too much salt is bad for you, isn't it? Wow, I'n hungry for BBQ now! o.O

  • Correct - Too much salt is not good for you but how much is too much? What he is using in this recipe would be a very low amount per serving of meat. He is also suggesting Kosher or Sea salt (real salt) not the regular Sodium Chloride table. salt.

  • Good point! Thanks : )

  • 3:27 Man, that smells good!

    Love the voice :P

  • OHHHHH shittttttt!!!!!SALT!!!!!!!!HAHAHHAHHA

  • Of course Memorial day is to remember the fallen soldiers and heroes of this country. for me and many others Its also a day to be with family and be grateful for what you have. As many service members are not able to do so , putting there life on the line in our countries battles So that we may barbecue, eat and sleep and be safe in the good Ol USA... thats what it means to me...but im just a United States Marine Corps poolee waiting to leave to boot camp..

  • and we thank you for your service, bro! Semper Fi -BBQ Pit Boys

  • May God bless gnetics18 and keep him safe. I think he is the only one who actually understood why this was on youtube today.

  • "ya uh.. put 4 tsp of salt.. uh sea salt.. yap.."

then he scoops in about 28 spoonfuls of salt.

  • Because he's not using tablespoons, hes using smaller tea spoons.

  • hey guys, do you know how to cook? then you should know that the spoon you use for eating does not hold as much as the measuring spoon used for cooking thats why he doubled waht he said. this means this guy really knows how to cook. i wish i could taste his cooking coz i love bbq's....

  • lol, I love the voice-over in these videos... Sounds like someone who knows exactly what they are talking about.

  • fuck me how much salt lol

  • Ha! I was thinking exactly the same thing!

  • buytoniq . tk

  • He sounds like the guy from the whataburger comercial! lol Well the guys voice cuz he doesn't really come out well yea

  • lol... I would love to know who taught you your measurements!.. your teaspoons looked more like 1/4 cups!.... the recipe looked pretty good though... kinda heavy on the salt... other than that pretty tastey lookin.. I might have to give it a try

  • The garlic and onion powder were about 2 tablespoons not teaspoons. That spoon is a full tablespoon.

  • what is the food he did?

  • o_O Didn't he say 4 spoons of salt then end up using 8?...Whats up with that.

  • the spoon probably was half a table spoon, at least that's what it looks like.

  • thx

  • God Bless you for this.

  • i love bbq!

  • I <3 you.
