I disagee. I feel that is is not a cop out, it's more of a plea. "correscted mistakes in a world full of hate never changes anything." i feel it means we all screw up and make mistakes. No one forgives anyone for mistakes made in the past and that leads to more hatred. If we could all forgive each other when we "correct mistakes" we can help put an end to "a world full of hate" and that helps to "change anything." I dunno, thats just my opinion.

wonderwhaz is pulling a single lyric out of song that's the exact definition of "out of context"

to me the lyric means something more like this:

he corrected his past mistakes in this world full of hate but it didn't change anything his past transgressions still occured and there's no need to dwell in the past you should just move forward...

'am i retrieving my direction or just charging forward blind'
