Mike's mistakes make this seem so live and powerful. It's the whole live experience, these highly polished bands are great but I like to hear bands that sound different (in a good way) in the flesh, on stage, fucking love Incubus.

P.s. Ben Kenney is an awesome replacement bassist, not many could completely change the style but at the same time retain all the the qualities that made us love Incubus in the first place.

eh i dunno whether id say thats the style he was going for. its not to say that mikes not a brilliant player cause he is, but at the same time you mustn't be blind to criticize the artists you love sometimes. this was a sloppy rendition by mike, but hey no ones perfect and every other time i have heard this its been perfect. even jimmy page had his off days ;)

i totally agree! i used to be a huge incubus fanatic, but i lost interest when they came out with their newer albums. i guess because of this, i discovered other bands such as Dream Theater. However, this song is probably my favorite out of their post-MakeYourself-MorningView material, because it's so progressive, and i'm now a big fan of progressive music.

A Crow Left Of The Murder is my favorite Incubus album because it is definitively them and not emulating FNM or RHCP like their earlier stuff was. It is their own style, but it is still edgy and strange.
