JKD, Kali, krav maga, ect. are generally great self defense arts for situations like you see in this video. They are also based on weapons as well. Karate, TKD, Wushu styles are generally trained as sport, but can be used as basic self defense if you are smart and careful, just remember there are no points and refs in the street. Grappling styles (BJJ,catch wreslting, ect.)-
