  • If he was belgian, he would be president

  • I understand why he is drunk, it can be extremely stressful in Japan.

  • @tongvaboy They'd feel better if they relaxed their marijuana laws I think.

  • In Soviet Russia, Alcohol drinks you !

  • he looks exactly like...remember the movie "gung ho" (michael keaton) when one of the japanese bosses was explaining to the ceo of the japanese car company what "loony tunes" meant? THAT GUY! LOL

  • LOLOL I love how they treat people who smoke marijuanna like criminals in the same severity that heroin and cocaine users are treated yet alcohol is widely accepted across japan

  • Vote for this guy !!!

  • Yeah this is hilarious. *Takes a shotgun* niggggas

  • I like how it's totally straight to get hammered in Japan, but smoking a little bit of marijuana is just un-fucking-acceptable.

  • @RetardedSpiceBar I so agree with you man, Japanese people are fucked up on many levels... There is a lot of confusion on what the effects of the drug actually are and no one can fucking tell the difference between a soft drug and a hard drug and what's addictive and what is not...

  • Jap pride!

  • Does anyone know what is "kindi wa" ?

  • Comment removed

  • He said "kinri wa..." (the interest rates are...)

  • R.I.P Nakagawa. God bless!

  • More drunk Japanese at drunkjapanese. com

  • drunk as a fart

  • aww man i feel bad now.RIP

  • RIP

  • I guess we'll see. Honor is big in Japanese culture. I wonder why it was so long after his mistake a few months back. Was it suicide?

  • Both suicide and homicide have been ruled out.

  • this poor man died today i wonder if this may have played apart in his death

  • Yes and no.

He had always been known as a heavy drinker and took medication, often way over the prescribed doses--a combination which inevitably causes the body to break down at some point.

  • is that sweat all over his suit?

  • HAHAHA! what a joke of a minister!

  • Too much to drink in Rome?

  • A: too much to drink

    B: too much pain medication

    C: combination of A and B

In any case, where were his spouse, his private secretary and senior aides in his ministry to stop him from making a fool of himself and embarrassing the country.

  • He doesn't seem to be having a good time, does he? Not alot of laffs in drunkeness.

  • elect this man the head of the UN, only hilarity could ensue

  • please somebody give this dude some blow! hahahaha! or some speed !

quote ! coke is also good at work!

  • translation anyone?

  • believe me... no translation needed. Basically very slow, slurred finance speak and a good dose of "....errrr....".

From what I'd heard he said he'd "been taking medicine", make of that what you will...

  • I only understood "Nippon wa" and "ano" (which means basicly "emm..." or "so.."

  • The hypnotism of the ninja @_@ v

  • what an inspraration. i was inspired by this video. it really make me looking into my own life and i relised i needed to do something about it.

  • He drink Vodka with Putin xD xD Putin resist Vodka

  • Maybe he's just tired

  • I think this man knows the full extent of the meltdown and is using booze to medicate himself.

The media just lies lies lies and keeps calling it a recession when it is depression that could last many years.

  • Free The West Memphis Three!!!!!

  • We're lucky the EU doesn't lock us out.

  • like sarcozy two years ago!!

  • yes, blame United States for everything. Yet under the same breath don't give any credit for anything good that's come out of this country. You go ahead and continue being jealous of everything we do.

  • this will only make our fall all the more enjoyable for other countries....

  • he still does a better job than many us politicians

  • he looks like hes falling asleep or atleast his brain function is about 25%:)

  • Firstly, he's an entry level alcapholic. He should haven't touched wines and 4,5 glasses of gin tonic(he barely remembers he'd had at least that much the night before though supposedly he wasn't too well.) They spent nearly 1mil USD to send 20 politicians and whoever others and showed the rest of the world they have no one else to showcase but this drunken embarassment... I'm Japanese and am so ashamed of being one...

  • He wasn't poisoned and I am not inclined to believe that it was cold medicine. I've lived in Japan now for 7 years. The "ruling class" is still running things much the same way they did 100 years ago, though it looks as though they don't. Alcoholic excess is not frowned upon over here, and certainly not questioned when one of the members of said class wants to get wasted before a press conference.

They don't question authority over here and this is one of the results of that.

  • lol @ "he was poisoned" hahahahaha

  • He was not drunken.

    He was poisoned.

    USA is a frightening country.

  • - China

The head of 【姜瑜】sub-press bureau of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs :

in the scheduled briefing on the 17th about the resignation declaration of Mr. Nakagawa.

It was commented, "Did not comment to internal affairs of Japan it, and belonging to domestic affairs of the foreign country".

    China is the calmest correspondence.

  • He's more coherent than George Bush!

    drunk minister Nakagawa!!

  • SHORYUKEN!

  • alcohol and meds?

trying to do the heath ledger?

  • He said he combined cold medecine with sleeping pills. Should we give him the benefit of the doubt?

  • We are ashamed that many people all over the world see him like this.

  • WAKE UP PLZZZZzzzz・・・ (-。- )

    Do Harakiri. from Japan!

  • Mr. Nakagawa was known as Prime Minister Aso's sworn friend as well as state minister for administrative reform Akira Amari et al., and appointment to make the Finance Minister serve concurrently to financial charge was thought to be typical "Friend human affairs".

It depends too much about the relative consideration and the tension might be lacked in the background of a series of speech and behavior.

  • I have strong suspicion that Nakagawa san might be sick or unwell, its extremely stupid for a minister of any country to appear on international platform and be percieved as a drunk !

Nakagawa san was not a rookie , he was with previous administration before

I have a very strong hunch that he was very very unwell on that day and out of duty he need to attend the press conference

I might be wrong and If I am , shall we drink to that ?

Kampeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ! sake for you my friend ?

    :)
