So I set it all up using the video and everything works except when I hit the note repeat on the pads there is no sound output and the same for the arp and latch, but everything else seems to be working.. any suggestions?

where do i find the presets. I had to recently re download windows 7 which erased all of my programs. Before this my 25 worked well, but now I cannot play samples on it. Is this a preset issue?

wats up man i got a question for ya.. i just got the Mpk25 and Reason 6 on my Macbook pro OS X.. i'm having trouble with the presets.. i already downloaded the Akai Reason remote files and dragged them into the proper folders like in part 2.... the question is, why won't the Mpk25 show under keyboards and control surfaces? .. i know im doing something wrong.. hit me up.. thanks!

@xtragetit Good looking my dude..the pads were an upgrade for sensitivity purposes, we all know you really have to bang on the MPK25 stock pads, so during the installation for sensitivity i threw on the Red Pads..

I just installed the Reason 6 update...all your info worked, however, I had to change the display on the AKAI MPK 25 controller screen to Reason for it to sync correctly. Don't know if another controller preset would work, like one of the generics. Just thought you may want to add that bit of info.

Ok...cool, but you have to incorporate those presets into the Reason software, then they will show up, in the drop down box, then you will be good to go.

everything works i noticed that its showing up as mpk49 cause the mpk 25 was not in my system. i went to akai and download the preset but it still not showing as one of my choices. but every thing else functions as it should except for the keyboard does not record the string sound in their entirety. just the popping sounds. someone suggest to check and make sure i have ASIO on my audio setting. ill see what that is.

im hooked up but my controller don't plays the bass and string note clearly but it only record the popping of the keys. almost like they were drum tracks. have u seen this problem before. if i use the mouse to click the notes it record the full lenght of the not, but if i play it with the controller it does not

@tishigunni Hmm, you should be good kiddo... very weird tho.......drums can be played from keys also, but for keys make sure you have the right instrument highlighted, then use the keys for strings, ex- nnxt, thor, etc.
