Hello! Thrawst, as for the puzzle you said you don't know what it is at 4:53 neither do I. But I can say a few things about it,

I have refered to it as the Cromoball (When I say 'I' I really mean google, and I stuck with it :) )

To get quicker solves, you can think of a regular 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube. It can be made into a Cross Pattern. Never mind what I said. It can't be solved a 3x3x3 way.

My Rubik's Magic is now nearly 30 years old. Got mine back in 1986 (the one with the rinbow colored rings on black ground). Solved it at least a thousand times and never broke a string ;)
