I find that if you snowboard IRL its a much more satisfying game to play (I snowboard myself) yes there are some odd things like super boost and being able to hockey check through ice but it's a very nice game. Yeh it's boring on your own just like real life snowboarding.

@MrsWillis44 stoked big air edition,yep I've got it,it's a pretty good game,not perfect but good,if you want a good sport game go for tony hawk's undergound 2(I've finished it 3 times,fucking awesome!) It's not realistic,but it's pure fun! (or tony hawk's american wasteland,or,another game that I liked,but don't buy it,first try the demo,dunno if u will like it,anyway that game is called Freakout:Extreme freeride,ski game)

Totally agree with this guy, this game doesn't know whether to try and be an all-out realistic experience; starting off with less speed, jump height, usable chairlifts and being able to detach your board etc. or an SSX-esque all-out arcade. What's even weirder is how you don''t really have a choice in which you play, because the further you progress the more the game changes to become arcade styled. Also finding those coins is the most awkward, glitchy task ever and does the game no favours.

Ok, I need some help. I am THIS close to buying this game, but I don't know if I'm going to enjoy it enough for the money. I LOVE the SSX games, I've just gone through SSX On Tour in fact and along with SSX3 they are the best snowboarding games I personally have played. What I enjoy most in SSX games: The free roaming of the mountains, the constant challenges, the unlockables (especially performance increases), the level of detail/diversity. I'll be happy if this is not as good but still fun
