This is from the director's cut. It's so much better than the original, I don't know why did they have to delete so many scenes, especially the one where Donnie's father talks to him and tells "fuck you" to everybody else... those little scenes made Donnie appear more human.

Maybe he is, we don't know. Understanding the movie doesn't make us stupid.. Or Emo.. or any of the other three words in your vocabulary.

Hmm...so you think that pulp fiction is a better movie than Donnie Darko? This is not just a teen movie, actually a teen can't understand what the movie is about. It is really not an easy movie to follow, but if you try to see behind the whole teen set-up and focus on the things that really matter, then you realize it is a very very good movie. There is no other movie explaining the ''tanged and primary universe'' theory in such a deep way. This movie is really worth watching.
