Generally yes. I know in Georgia you can carry, but most states that's illegal. Owning is legal in most however. Wikipedia has a nice spreadsheet on what's legal/illagal in thir switchblade page
No. No manual safety. But the button is recessed, so you really have to angle and press just right to get it to fire. More so than other similar autos I have. I think the chances of it accidentaly fireing in your pocket is next to zero.
@xiuxiu1313 hey how are you xiuixui thanks for the video review.. i had a quick question is this considered a switch blade or more of a self assist type of knife... and should i be worried about getting in trouble carrying it around because i have this exact same type of knife and i have always wondered if i could be in shit with cops if they found it on me?
It is a switch blade as you press a button in the handle to fire the blade. And depending on the state where you live, carrying this knife could be illegal.
@xiuxiu1313 yea i figured... som1 that worked at the military surplus store that i bought it form said it was a self assist due to the gravity latch on the side or something... but i live in florida and is considered one of the more lenient states for things like this.. i was just wondering if i was running in the park with it and due to its spring action "Switch Blade" category that a copy see it and get me in trouble due to it... just wondering cause everyoneeee i ask seems to have their own
Great review. My knife did come out a little crunchy at first, but after opening and closing about 20 times the crunch was gone and it is now smooth. I'm very happy with this knife.
Mine just came ( dagger model ) and I wanna say thanks again for the great review. And that after playing with this knife for a few hours, I would recommend it to others!!
Many many years. Depending on enviroment (preventing rust and corrosion) and usage. This thing could be firing for your kids (or grand kids depeinding on how old you are) or you know what I mean. Best part, is that springs are cheap and easy to replace so if it does go out, easy to fix.
Overall very good. They have three lines of increasing quality (like benchmade). Boker plus, Magnum, and I forget what their top tier is. Even the bottom line, although made in china, is good quality. You get what you pay for.
The only time I'd ever stab a dog is if it attacks me (and I have done that with dogs that tried to bite me and most of the time it's a pitbull that's been bred to fight) Good review dude.
That is not a drop point blade, that's a dagger.

You best bet would be to probably e-mail Boker directly.

Was wondering if you knew where I could find the tanto blade version online? I didn't find it on eBay. Thanks

bladeplay or bladeops with a dotcom after are usually your best bet.
