who ever owns that rsx nice base 8k rpms lol manual lol thats funny i own a rsx and its a type S the type S rsx are the only rsx model that 6th speed 210hp redline 8500 i my case mine 9300 got no stock stuff learn first that the base is 5th speed auto point blank the rsx type S is the only manual one so yea correct ur knowledge on k series (motors) and different models :) just trying explain whats the right answer

this is the fastest an rsx will do, perhaps .2-.3 seconds faster, but that is it.. But if you follow the honda hand book and strip out the back seats, the passenger side, the power steering, the ac, and whatever else, it can be quite fast.. Everything is so cheaply put together, you can easily take them out.. i've done it.. the best bang for the buck is the rsx type s.. i think.. good on gas too.

Yea my friend was shifting early...i wasnt if you knew anything before you opened your mouth my car loses power like at 5200 so i wasnt shiftint to early. get your info straight before you comment

shifting early? and loosing power in what? the RSX? if you think it looses power at 5200 your a fucking idot. its a vtec valvetrain that would easily deliver power all the way to atleast 7... orelse they wouldent have set the limiter at 6750

true, the peak hp is between 5000-5500, but the hp doesnt fall enough to want to shift early. The tq band on our cars is great from 3750 to 5000 and our hp is great through 4500 and 6000. After you shift your down to far at 4250. It may not seem like a big difference but that extra 250rpm is letting out about 5whp.

The 2.3l is more powerful than the engine in the 2000 stock for stock... Though my 2002 Zetec with intake, header and exhaust pulls a 7 flat.
