@m1serysp1ke i dont think japan is all that technologically advance really But on the fact on makeing gundams would more come down to the money to make them it would cost alot to make just one and it would have to be made out of some very strong stuff becuse we have missle they would love to test on it and blow it up its no way to even make it that flexable as show and what ever country makes it would be disliked for makeing a mass killing machine like that which would ban it from use
@opp861 I beg to differ, as I think it would be quite easy to convince people that making such a machine would be beneficial. It would reduce homeland casualties while doubling the effectiveness of a single pilot.

Lack of knowledge about the bomb and the ever growing threat of communism fueled public support, so in a theoretical situation sure people would support giant robot's being built given the right circumstances. And whether it's impossible to build giant robots or not, we would have enough money to fuel a prototype that would get cheaper if put into mass production.

i never understood y when heavy death and sand didn't kill when they fought i mean even if they didn't kill the pilots the people waiting on the ground would the second the pilots left their mobile suits
It was because they had faith in mankind, they believed that they would realize that killing does absolutely nothings but bring a cycle of death, by not killing them they were showing that they were fighting for a cause above would most would be willing to. Thats also why the civilians were not killing as well, they understood what they Gundam piolets were fighting for, with a little help from eachother.
Though one thing still confuses me. The Zero could destroy an entire colony with the twin buster rifle, right? Then why did it take three shots to destroy a small underground bunker?
Realize that the bunkers had some sort of shield which protected it somewhat. And plus it wouldn't be as dramatic if wing zero destroyed it in one shot, killed relena, and everybody just going home. That would make for bad cinema.
The reason is that Heero didn't want to kill Relena, or the Bunker's Many layers of Neo-Titanium(which has been said to be almost as strong as Gundanium but much cheaper).
It's not just that I think it looked better without the wings. There's continuity errors as well. For example: we know that Zero did not have the wings during the final battle, yet it does in the movie.
I believe the angel wings helped make Wing Zero more true to its name, and more original stand along lead gundam. As to me the OVA wing zero had a lot of basis off Zeta gundam, the point of the series was to be different from the UC era. Besides, what other beautiful mech like Wing Zero can move in 1080 degree's of thrust maneuverability and still be a force to reckon with? Truly it is, a angel of death and destruction for its enemies, and a real symbol of hope for others.
I love the Gundam Wing series. I believe its the only anime with the perfect ending. They didn't do overrated spinoffs, it has strong political themes,and the movie (which was actually a 9 episode sequel) clinches it off perfectly.
anyone notice that wufei is always stupid and gets manipulated by the bad guys? like with the white fang in the show and in the movie he is an antagonist too!
