Also, about the debate over what happened in the end, I think that the "dark part of Alessa" wanted to keep Rose and Sharon stuck in the fog version of Silent Hill out of sheer greed. After all, the devil is a greedy bastard, right? And that's who/what the "dark part of Alessa" was. Sad ending though. Good film, all the same.

The movie slapped Silent Hill in the face and in terms of being ''Silent Hill'' and even trying to be ''Silent Hill'' it was annoying as a dog barking on Sunday morning at 6:00. Let's not mention that the dog dies soon after. It had interesting visuals, very good even, but it could have been also called something other than Silent Hill and make less pain to my dying heart -.-

Really good well done mate :) I just saw the film because i love how fliping freaky the first game was haha. Running into the bloody alley with those demonic children following. Man i loved the film and i guess this kinda gives the trailer the extra step towards the original game which is great. The only thing is you shouldn't have added the "Alessa coming up from the coal mines part it kinda gave away a chunk of the story, but don't worry it was still very good well done once again :) DR92

people told me to check out the reaper in this flix cause we have a song called the reaper. Well The movie was not what i expected being it came from a game. But it holds its own. I really thought as i was watching it this is really good, story line, actors, effects, sound, editing, camera work. And something i did not expect.... it stuck in my head. Oh the best reaper my nightmares could not have dreamed up. Is a silent hill 2 possible?
