I don't know if I should thank you for posting this. Your generosity in posting the transcription means that I'm going to spend the next six months trying to figure out how to play this a quarter as well as you. Seriously: thanks.
One of the more beautiful mandolin pieces I have encountered. Simply wonderful arrangement of an enchanting tune and thanks for posting the notation. Wonderful playing and that Altman really lives up to its reputation in your hands.
You have always been one of the best mandolinist and guitar players I've encountered. Beautiful song. I wish I could come back to Tucson and soak up some of that in person. I miss the old French Quarter days.
Awesome rendition- I play this on fingerstyle guitar and really enjoy this on mando as well- thanks for posting tab. That mando sounds great as well- great job. I've got an octave mandolin and can't wait to try your tab on that! Cheers- Mark
I'm glad you don't have wasted talent. You're awesome man.

Would love to hear Peter Buck play this on his Flatiron F mandolin. He said he grew up on Irish music. Time to prove it, Pete.

Very nice tune! I just bought my first mandolin (I'm a guitar player) & these are the first notes I learn to play...
Thank you for that!
