  • @xAkiraMonster: yeah maple story has changed a lot since I last played. They had just brought in the pirate class. I still have avatars, but I don't play anymore. Maybe someday I will play again.

  • looks like chicken lo mein

  • I have a question...I dont really like fish or any sea food...can I replace it with some other kind of meat?

  • @cyberkitty172639 This doesn't use seafood or pork, I believe. (Or at least it's not there in the description.)

But I'm fairly sure if it's washed and cooked properly other meats would work as well

  • @yosoccerboy At least this one doesn't, I will try it later on! probably it will result in a new dish lol

  • 焼そばを食べる為にはどんな事でもする。かば丸は、そんな男の子だった。可愛いではないか!

  • Very delicious! Good cooks!

  • When the song started I was like.. "Aha! Is that Kerning City's background music?"

  • @xAkiraMonster Really? I thought Maplestory was dead. The servers are all empty compared to the past...well I salute ye, fellow Mapler :3

  • What always amazes me about this show is the freshness of the produce. I live in a tiny town in the UK and there is just NO WAY that I could get vegetables that fresh around here. By the time they make it to the supermarket shelf they look like someone's already had a go at eating them.

  • @Alloriel Maybe you could grow some?

  • @TapiocaTwoStep We live on the top floor of an apartment building, so no garden for me :(

  • @Alloriel If you have a balcony try looking into box gardens. Can also be done in front of windows for small herb gardens too.

  • Cooking with dog is actually a consideration within Fillipino Cooking circles.

  • I WISH SHE WAS MY GRANDMA! :(

  • Subarashii!!!! Sugu ni yoku naru Chef - san!!

  • lol at 0:46 the dog is liek "say what?!"

  • I love this!!!

  • Get well soon, Chef!

    :(

  • moyashi!! XD

  • おばちゃん可愛いなー

  • 0:46 - epic Francis reaction!

  • yakisoba is the noodles kabamaru likes.

remember the song yakisoba blah blah blah

    episode 1 iga no kabamaru???

  • DOG: BITCH GIVE ME SOME FOOD. 2:46

  • lol when she bangs the garlic with her knife, the dogs all like "oh sh*t!"

    xD

  • oh lets have a little bit of sliced pork.................. AND A LOT OF VEGETABLES

  • I'm confused on one thing. Is aonori just a powdered form of the nori sheets used in sushi, or is it prepared differently? Looks delicious! I'll be making a vegetarian version soon.

  • @SOAHCSOAHCSOAHC

Aonori is just seaweed. Unfortunately specifics are kind of lost in translation I guess... What they REFER TO as aonori generally is the dried powdered seaweed used as a seasoning (it's called aonori-ko), that is sometimes seasoned, and generally has a stronger flavor than nori sheets. The nori sheets are sheets of toasted seaweed used for wrapping and decorations/garnishment that can be flavored, but not always.

  • Mmmmmm i made this! I'm eating it right now. It's so jummy! Thank you francis and chef!

  • Omg I want sum

  • i like how Maruchan put a yakisoba ad right before this video. 0 30 sneaky sneaky~

  • Why is Sake in everything?

  • @HajisSaya you have to get drunk ya know

  • poor dog....he doesn't really get to taste any dishes that she makes.

  • @YumikoFang dont be so sure, I once fed my poodle with sushi:P

  • @YumikoFang No ,if it's doggie-edible, you sometimes see her slip him some. Like in the rice ball video, I think it was.

  • @YumikoFang Not true. In some of the outtakes they sometimes show, in a few of them she feeds the dog some of what shes made.

  • @YumikoFang He tastes them sometimes.

You shouldn't be feeding dogs food made for humans anyway.

  • @YumikoFang yeah he does.

  • this looks so easy. i might even make this if i get hungry one afternoon

  • okay the thing is , even it was a worm which it wasnt , did they even tell you to put one in the food ? anywho it was jsut a bonito flake watch carefully next time ~

  • Bonito flakes are so gross, we feed that to fish over here.

  • I love it when he says good luck in the kitchen at the end; it's like his catch phrase haha

  • Why did you remove that garlic sprout?

  • I wish this lady was my mother...

  • Bonito flakes are fish, not garlic skin, lol... And the heat moves it because it is so thin..

  • @2:38-2:42 it freaked me out ! but after reading the top comment I felt relieved LOL

  • Lol i love all the pans and knives she uses there so fancy :D

  • it's was kinda funny at this part 0:46 if u watch the dog just after she bangs the garlic wit her knife.

  • what was in the sauce ? soy sauce and oyster sauce and saki ?

  • @bendark00 yes

  • @bendark00

    My yakisoba sauce lists:

Vinegar, corn syrup, fruits and vegetables (tomato, onion, apple, carrot, peach, date, orange, and garlic), water, sugar, soy protein, soy sauce, salt, food starch, spices, coloring, kelp extract, yeast extract, guar gum, and kelp.

I'm pretty sure I have an authentic home-made yakisoba sauce recipe floating around somewhere I can dig up too if you REALLY want it though, lol.

  • This is a CAMPING food!?! In the U.S. the best we have are hot dogs and smores!

  • @goirkens you're a pretty lame camper then! when I go camping we make full course meals just using the fire! you just have to be creative! :D

  • @mcnattmc I'm guessing you're either a person who goes camping regularly or always goes camping with experienced people, right?

Maybe you could make some youtube cooking videos for those who want to get the best food out of their camping experience?

  • Yakisoba pan?

  • @sniperyuri i <3 u

  • @rahrmelon209 srry... meant 4 the miku comment XD

  • @sniperyuri srry meant 4 miku comment

  • MIKU HATSUNE LEEK!!!

  • @AshleighTheSushiCat It's called onion. :]

  • Did You Knew That There's Yakisoba Noodles In A America Store..It Says Yakisoba Noodles Flavored Beef In Maruchan

  • I made it yesterday... IM IN LOVE WITH YOKISOBA NOODELS <3

  • I rode 30 min on my bike to the store just to find out that they don't sell the noodles I need There can anyone tell where to buy the noodles

  • @sailorbunny1010 I'm sorry about that.. ^_^'' There aren't really any noodles called "yakisoba" noodles. A more authentic way to go would be to get "chuka soba"; the ones I got at Kroger's are about the shape of a vhs, with a red front & yellow noodles. It's labelled "Wel-Pac Chow mein stir-fry noodles". If you can't find chuka noodles though, a generally accepted substitution would be ramen noodles. (I use those personally unless I'm making a special dish). Just make sure to under-cook them.

  • @IceburgFanell you do get soba noodles though. but yellow? mine are darkish brown

  • @undeadsos5

I'm not sure what you mean exactly... You're not supposed to use actual soba in yakisoba (soba are the dark brown buckwheat noodles that look kind of like cardboard), you're supposed to use wheat-based noodles (which look similar to ramen noodles).

  • @IceburgFanell hmm well I used soba noodles to make mine. came out pretty good if I say so myself.

  • this one look easy and good.

  • I just made this dish and it is AWESOME!!!!!! Thank you so much for posting this!

  • oiiichiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • Can someone ask this person if she can teach how to make spring rolls and stir fry

  • @sailorbunny1010 I think they already have a video with spring rolls, but I'm not so sure about the stir fry. There is one with udon noodles and it looks really good.

  • worst version of maggi goreng

  • @pororocian ooooooooooowwwwwwwww $#*!

  • sorry...i may sound like a total noob, but the are the yakisoba noodles regular ramen noodles?

  • @msanimefreak2232 Nope. I'm pretty sure there are different types of noodles. There's Udon, too.

  • @msanimefreak2232

Don't feel bad, I've been studying Japanese cooking for a couple years now in my free time and it STILL sometimes makes my eyes cross due to the breadth of unique Japanese ingredients and cooking styles, lol.

I just replied to a similar question recently, so you should see it somewhere below this one.

Basically "chuka soba" noodles are generally used in authentic yakisoba dishes, but ramen noodles can and often are substituted.

  • 2:40 THE BONITO FLAKE! IT LIVES!!

  • @pororocian i worry about you a tiny bit. >>

  • @kyoko2zombie me too.

  • 0:48 aaah the smile when she crushes the garlic hahaha

  • @pororocian LOLOLOL this made my whole day :)

    Thank you,

    An Also Not Weird Girl

  • i love that dog ^ ^

  • 2:39 OMG that thing moves! =))

    It looks delicious, anyways!

  • 0:46 He looks scared :(

  • This Oba-san is for real, homeboy. She doesn't even touch an apron.

  • what souce did you put..?i ddnt get it

  • @joan3225 Oyster, Soy Sause, Sake (Japanese Rice Alcohol). Use Water instead of Sake if you don't want Alcohol ... like me.

  • ソース焼きそばか塩焼きそばか、分からない

  • sugoku tabetaina yakishoba

  • Is it just me or was that a REALLY big carrot?

  • @kablooie267 Nope, it was huge. But japan does genetically modify a lot of their veggies, so it's possible for it to grow really large.

  • i definitely want to try this! i love noodles!! BELIEVE IT!!! ^_^

  • @Cupcom5 Like Naruto? xD

    BELIEVE IT! >:O

  • @catdelks yup! BELIEVE IT!!! ^_^

  • oh - now, with this show, it seems so simple and easy!!

I'll try it next weekend, if I can.

Can we do this recipe using a WOK frying pan instead? (the shape is different, but since many people use wok pans to prepare yakissoba I ended up buying a large one...)

  • 0:47 the dog is shock! So cute :3

  • i love it when she laughes! ^ - ^

  • Uh, guys. That wasn't a worm-- it was a garlic skin that was moving because of the heat.

  • @AshtonKish Garlic skin? That was the bonito flakes if you were referring to 2:40

  • @AshtonKish

I'm pretty sure those are bonito flakes which are dried smoked bonito fish

  • @AshtonKish Isn't that a Bonito flake?

  • @AshtonKish It's actually the bonito flakes that are moving. They do that all the time when served on hot food. : D

  • Comment removed

  • @AshtonKish garlic skin?

  • @AshtonKish Bonito flakes stoopid.

  • and on 2:42.

  • Ewwww Foooouuuu better check next time your ingrendients.... I JUST SAW A "GUSANO" (A DAMN worm) at your plate!!!! A worm on 2:34 and 2:40.

  • @TheGreySanctuary actually its the bonito flakes moving because of the heat.

  • @mathgurlc18 thanks for the reply I just freak out a bit...

  • hahaa.. "GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN!" lol

  • Death to the dog!

  • I ate this today! So yummeh! :3

  • Ok I have to try this some day!

  • Where do you get a pack of yakisoba noodles from? Only ones I can find are frozen ones..

  • looks so easy

  • When I asw the green onion, I thought... MIKU WUZ HERE! :3

  • how come she makes it look so easy

  • What's the purpose of removing the sprout of the garlic?

  • @lauriemtee maybe it effects the taste or the final presentation will look better without it?

  • @lauriemtee

The green sprout part of the garlic sometimes can be a little bitter, so some people remove it.

  • way too much vegetables and way too less meat!!!!

  • Why doesn't she use her Rasen Shurikien? D:

  • @iMangaArtist mani mo!

  • i just realized that the dog must have been very well trained....if i were the dog, i would have eaten all that up hahahaa

  • that seams really easy to make ima try to make it

  • :3 I love your cooking :3 thank you for showing me how to cook :3 /forevergrateful

  • Thumbs up if you love cooking with dog !

  • can you use chicken or beef meat inestead pork?

  • LOOOL, the dog was like "WOAH" when the nice lady smashed the garlic at 0:45 (x

  • When he says diagonally it reminded me of Harry potter cuz it also is diagon ally :D

  • I have eaten instant yakisoba before. But I want to try cooking this! I'm sure the instant one is nothing compared to the real kind...

  • Put on the subtitles, it is so funny! xD

  • owh.. i ever see this noodle. at a restaurant in my hometown. Its so delicious!

  • why is she so beautiful?! Oh why!!!!

And they use a lot of ginger don't they? o.o ginger, bonito flakes, and even though it's extrenely healthy because it's sesame oil, they fry and stir fry a lot don't they? ^^ Japanese cuisine is very simple, yet it's sooo delicious and healthy!! ^0^

  • Always wanted to try this D:

  • I'm ashamed of my Maruchan brand Yakisoba noodles now. It's a sweet and sour chicken flavor

    =/

  • @SuperMusicalDreamer i eat that brand of yakisoba too...compared to this video, i think it looks nasty now xD

  • @SuperMusicalDreamer

    You needn't be ashamed.

Because There is goodness respectively.instant noodles is good too.

and Maruchan is most popular noodle's product(besides maruchan instant noodle)(about a steamed noodles like this vids) company.

in Japan, most typical steamed noodle is Maruchan steamed yakisoba noodles 3pack.

so maruchan brand is not insipid.

  • Why is there a dog in this show??

  • @TheDarknisLight The dog adds to the magic.

  • she can toss my yakisoba anytime lol

  • 私は最後に笑いが大好き!彼女は何を語るか?誰か?

  • I love the laugh in the end! What does she says? Someone??

  • AT 2:40 I DONT THINK THATS A VEGETABLE CUZ VEGETABLE'S DONT MOVE LIKE A WORM

  • @emanrocks45 You are right. It is bonito flakes, which is dried fish.

  • @emanrocks45

that´s what I thought too when I saw ist, but I think it´s just gravity ;)

  • @MistressChoc

    "ist" meant "this" :D

  • @MistressChoc hahaha yea i doubt gravity can move left to right. I thought it was always up and dowm LOLZ :)

  • @emanrocks45 OMG IT'S ALIVE !! KILL IT WITH FIRE or just eat it

  • it must be a torture for the dog only having to see her cooking! they should serve him a boal for waisting his time -_-'

  • omg shut up about the dog sittin there and it being unsanitary... you are not at a damn restaurant. It makes it cute and diffrent that the dog is doin the naration, and its better to watch than some lame chef with a droning on voice tellin u waht to do while they breath heavy over a pan.

  • It just seems so unsanitary to cook with a dog sitting on the food counter. It makes the food unappealing to me.

  • @SGmom2

    Then don't watch

  • I like to put green bell peppers in mine, too. If you have okonomiyaki sauce, you can use that as a fairly close substitute to yakisoba sauce (if you don't like having multiple single-purpose sauces). I've also used spaghetti instead of ramen when I don't have or can't get ramen. It's fairly close, but not the same.

  • BluEyesBlackCat, yakisoba noodles, when fresh (like she's using) cook quickly & don't become soggy.

  • ForgeTheFun, Japanese carrots are always that big on their markets, I think it's because Japanese people use it decoratively in many dishes. Their food is for the eye as well as the stomach. This looks delicious !!!

  • @EverGreenLiving Yep, and our carrots keep getting smaller and smaller! (dang "baby" carrots)

  • why are the japanese people so adorable??!?!?! and the doggggg...

  • is any noodles will do?

like the one they use for the endomy?

  • @BLUEEYESBLACKCAT

EVERY KIND OF NOODLES OK.NO PROBLEM.

instant noodles like top ramen or maruchan ramen or other brand instant noodles.ofcource OK.

    these ramen's Yakisoba is delicious.

but more typically japanese Yakisoba noodle is using steamed noodles.

  • @BLUEEYESBLACKCAT

I recommended to you Maruchan's Yakisoba Set.

This is yakisoba steamed noodles pack of 3packeges.

and most popular steamed yakisoba noodles in japan.

These yakisoba noodles can buy japanese(asian) market place.like a MITSUWA market place.

  • @BLUEEYESBLACKCAT

If you using instant noodles like top ramen,

you shorten the boiled time, and boil the noodle harder texture.

  • aaaah i made yakisoba today (=*__*=) OISHIIIIIIII
