Some of them really look like they need to slim down a bit. Especially that rollypolly lioness! I imagine they were kept in pretty small cages before coming here, now at least they have room to get some excercise.

Thanks Kovu! And no, I have not been a volunteer there. I did a tour when I went to Florida for vacation (I have family in Florida so I go every year) I live really far away so I couldn't volunteer there. BCR was the first sanctuary I ever heard about so they have a special place in my heart :)

Does your organization have a position on breeding domestic cats with wild cats to produce pets (such as Savannah cats)? My instincts tell me it's wrong, but I would like to have more information if it's available. Thank you.

BCR is against exotic pet ownership so I would assume they would be against it. (I do not work at BCR but that is my guess),

In my opinion, it is wrong to breed own own them.

Aw cats (the small and the big ones ;) are so adorable...And it warms my heart to see how those animals can be happy again :')
