I do agree that GP racetracks, esp. on parts of normal roads is better. I have seen the US GP in Long Beach, and I really liked it. The reason NASCAR tracks are varients of ovals is because 1. They are cheaper to build. 2) Fans get to see almost all of the action. 3) Stands can be more compact and cheaper to build 4) American love to see stockcars bashing each others fenders, lots of passing, I.E. really close racing not possible in the much narrower GP tracks.

Taiwan do NOT have the need to be a superpower of the world! I mean just look at USA with the 9/11! That's something we, Taiwanese, can do without! If it was up to me, I would have the US recognize ROC as independent nation, because that is what it was and is. I'd have big US Air Bases and a Naval Station on it because western conflict with the DRC is coming and we are going to need facilities to operate from.

There is no doubt ROC Marines are well trained. However as an ex-USMarine Officer I am concerned that they are still using old 1960s versions of the M16, old recycled USNavy Amphib ships,etc. The DRC has invested alot more into modern system, the ROC is being left behind.
