  • Pwerful, JoeDan.... I love your work. You've got it and you always BRING IT!

  • I can't tell if this is supposed to be a satire or not

  • this is who we are.

  • @CaffeinatedThinking

As it says in the video, the founders felt it taught morals.

A moral society is less violent, there is less crime, etc.

It was this way until the 1960s

  • It never ceases to boggle my mind why we are refighting the school battle which was put to rest with the 1844 case.

  • The constitution is suppose to protect the church from the state not the state from the church. It's amazing to me how people take the constitution and twist it so. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." From this there is hysteria regarding the Bible & gov't..

  • WOMEN OF THE WORLD WAKE UP. THE TALABAN AND THE KU KLUX KLAN ARE THE SAME. THEY HIDE THEIR FACES TO COVER THEIR SHAME. When they can control the women, keep them uneducated, frightened and quiet, they can eliminate the opposition and become our god;s. It isn't about religion, it is about power. We must pray and educate as we see another Hitler rising to take over God bless you and God bless America..

  • @CaffeinatedThinking

First of all, I can guarantee you were taught a lot of censored history.

Progressives have tainted the reputation of our founding fathers. Politicians

have edited what parts of history you should learn.

You are wrong about the Bible and the Founders. Congress passed legislation

to approve teaching the Bible in school.

The bible helps instill good morals in people who follow it's teachings.

Now if you want to talk about the Koran, Mohammed had a 7 year old wife.

  • Our country was founded, in part, on the Word of God. Even FDR recognized this. Almost every school founded was established to teach the Scriptures, including Harvard. Google founding fathers and the Bible and I think you will be surprised.

Now, if you want to argue that today, we have moved beyond that, that is an entirely different argument. But that our founders believed in Jesus Christ and that they provided a multitude of opportunities to expose us, is clear.

  • Sergent York! Great Flik!

  • I am saying that one of the great freedoms in this country is freedom of religion. That means that being Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim, Atheist, or any other belief and it is fine in the United States. The Bible gives people meaning and guidance. But it is not the only book that does this. The Quran, the Hindu Vegas or the Torah do the same thing. If everyone goes to school and you say the Bible must be taught then you force everyone to be Christian and get rid of their right to choose.

  • @bobshurleywins let them pratice that shit in there own homes and let this country grow on how it was built.... not to let little terrorist invade our schools

  • @ocahill12 This country was built on the fact that all religions are accepted. Not that saying muslims are all little terrorists.

  • @bobshurleywins Im saying they are and if i had it my way i'd kill the rest of those fucks and finish what my boys and i did on 19 october 2001.... YOU STUPID FUCK

  • @ocahill12 I am assuming that you are Christian and if you are you know that Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. I remember that every day and I hope you do the same. They are also your neighbors if they have done wrong which some of them have done then God will judge them when they reach them and he will pronounce punishment. But the ten commandments say thou shall not kill.

  • @bobshurleywins Who would you have deciding the value of life, your life? We have judges who subscribe to the notion of "restorative" justice. They release incorrigible sex offenders and put the lives of children at risk for arbitrary ideological reasons. I'm sorry but sex offenders just don't equal their child victims. Again, without the Bible, WHO WOULD YOU HAVE DECIDE THE FATE OF SOMEONE WHO RAPED AND KILLED YOUR CHILD?

  • @CaffeinatedThinking The founding fathers have nothing to do with "truth"...History does. A Judea-Christian foundation, which we were indeed founded on--- encompasses more than one religion and numerous denominations. Check the facts,. In 1782-USA just 6 years old---Congress approves Bible. 1802-Thomas Jefferson (the left's poster-child for separation) became president, but not a word about the congressional resolution. In 1844, The Supreme Court UNANIMOUSLY approved it. Learn History.

  • @CaffeinatedThinking

Brilliant argument---but the country was not founded on Mormonism, was it?

  • I am sorry but technically the Bible is unconstitutional. In the First Amendment we have freedom of religion and we are free to be Christian and free not to be so if in a school where there are children who are still learning their faith you teach the Bible and not all other religious texts it is unconstitutional.

  • @bobshurleywins So the people that WROTE the constitution was just too stupid to know what they had written? The USA was only 6 years old when the 1782 Congress approved the Bible for use in schools. Thomas Jefferson, the secular's "Father of Separation" said not a word. Even 18 tears later, when he was elected president. Nothing.

Some 80 years later, a unanimous Supreme Court also upheld it. If you count the number of folks involved here-they sure were a bunch of "Un-constitutionalists"

  • @JoeDanMedia In those days all citizens in the United States were Christian. That was still mostly the case until recently. Now we have one in 25 kids who are another religion not Christian, and 10 percent of the kids have no religion. That is enough I would think that forcing them to learn the Bible is imposing on their freedom. Kids at that age are learning whatever you tell them give them the Quran they are Muslim. The Bible they are Christian. They should be allowed to make their own choice

  • @bobshurleywins

WHO gave you your Liberty? Be careful how you answer that question because the one who gave you your liberty can also take it away. A government that is big enough to give you everything you want is also strong enough to take everything you have. A country like ours was founded on moral principles. If we can not post a commandment "thou shall not kill" in a court of law, then who will decide for us what is moral? Do you really trust any human or judge to decide for you?

  • @malteseconnexion Who wrote the Bible? Humans. Maybe they were inspired by God maybe they weren't I don't know I wasn't there.

I also never said that you can't say don't kill people in a law. That is a just law. All religions have that as a law, and it makes sense.

  • @bobshurleywins WHO gave you your Liberty? Be careful how you answer that question because the one who gives you Liberty can also take it away. A government big enough to give you everything you want, is also strong enough to take everything you have.

  • @bobshurleywins Actually the First Amendment does not state that we shall have "Freedom of Religion. " What it states is the following, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." That certainly does not make "The Holy Bible" unconstitutional, technically or otherwise.

  • @Thomas090959 So Congress making a law saying the Bible should be taught in schools doesn't in any way show a special respect towards Christianity over Islam or any other religion???

  • @bobshurleywins Just so that you know. The Public School system in some states is allowing Muslim students take up prayer in the schools and their study of the Koran. Seems a whole lot hypocritical to me! You want you children or Grandchildren learning the Muslim religion in school? As for the Mormon faith... We all have our rights to practice our religion. I have Mormons in my home to fellowship and treat the young elders to a home cooked meal. Who are you to judge?

  • @ocahill12 I am saying that no one religion should be favored as long as no one else's rights are infringed, everyone should be able to practice their own religion. That being said I think you shouldn't be able to teach just 1 religion as the "right one" because that isn't fair. And to answer your question yes i do want my children or grandchildren learning the Muslim religion at school. I want them to learn about all religions so they have a background in religion which is important worldwide.

  • @bobshurleywins Well I feel that taking away from what I lived and fought for, whaat this country was built on is what AMERICA should be teaching and if you support building a mosk on ground zero then you are no AMERICAN BUT JUST ANOTHER PIECE OF SHIT RAG

  • @ocahill12 I am a US SOLDIER AND WAS RECENTLY MARRIED TO A MORMON SLUT WHO GOT PREGNANT BY A GUY AT HER WORK! ITS ALL BULLSHIT! AND AS FAR AS MY KIDS LEARNING THE MUSLIM RELIGION....... HELL NO I FOUGHT AGAINST THOSE RAGS IN IRAQ AND I HONESTLY FEEL THERE IS NO PLACE FOR THAT IN AMERICA.... HONESTLY I THINK WE SHOULD DO WHAT WE DID IN WW2.... Put all RAGS AND MUSLIMS IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS TO PROTECT OUR COUNTRY!!!!!!!!! THATS RIGHT MF I SAID IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ocahill12 I want to start by thanking you for your service. And then say I think you are confusing a few people who are Muslim with the religion in general. Have you read the Koran? if you have you know that most of the religion is based on peace and caring about others. They are required to give 10% of their money to charity. That being said there are people who think that anyone but Muslims are evil and attack them. I disagree with that very strongly.

  • @ocahill12 Jesus said love they neighbor as thyself and if someone should hit you you should turn the other cheek. As a Christian I try my best to live by this. For it for us to live our best and not worry about others and for god to judge. This doesn't mean that defending our country isn't just because it is. But saying they are evil and that they can't live in peace. A concentration camp is hell on earth and you want to put your fellow man there. Is that what being a Christian is???
