i have a 700p and the reception really is amazing. and the battery has lasted me for 14hrs and is at the same lvl as his, which is great for its age i believe. usin net/tv/ect. And the os is easy, but different. + keyboard is lil cramped. but i think its a great phone forgiving its age

Treo 755p, is nearly identical to the Treo 680. The Case shape and button layout are the same, in fact the only difference in the design of case is the port on the side next to the SD card slot.

Good size, but really like my treo700wx because it has the "computer" screen. Windows software gave it a better feel but my new 755p, without windows, works a lot faster and much better connection speed/and picks up tremendously better!

I'm growing to like the 755p, but still miss the genuine files such as word, excell, pp.

actully I had issjes with my 8400,my 8300 was a classic phone ,never gave me any problems @ all,all the upgrades did encluding my palms,so if u got a half desent workn phone with a frew advantages it's best2 hold on 2 it!!!!!!!

I'm a big treo fan, but the freezes and the 10 second delay that happens randomly once or twice a day makes me want to throw this phone against the wall. I will get the Treo Pro once its on Verizon Wireless.

This is the worst gadget experience I've ever had! I "upgraded" to the 755 because of bugs on my old one, and it's got more bugs than an anthill. It reboots spontaneously for no reason while I'm in the middle of a call, freezes up and delays, taking forever to navigate around. FUGGETABOUT IT!!!!!

Unless they get their act together....Palm is gonna be out of biz soon.

So i want to trade phones i like this one alot better and the Palm Centro has a really wee keyboard so terribly hard to use cause its like itsy biysy. But i want one of these anyway

I love the threaded text messages, but do wish I could receive photos via text on it. Am I missing something? Maybe there is a way?

palms and blackberries have GREAT batteries. palm batteries are just a little better than the BB batteries. But yeah, expect long battery life with these things

ehh...idk. palm os isnt too copmlex so it should be pretty easy to pick up on. i used a treo 680 for all of 3 days but exchanged for the winmo 750 which (in my opinion) blows palm os away

No, the closest thing it has to a home screen is the desktop, which takes about 8 clicks to get to in WinMo.

This is a horrid review of this phone. its capable of so much but all you're showing is how it is out the box. ever tried to have fun with windows out the box? not much fun is it? crank up the GPS, play some videos, run docks to go, turn on TCPMP, play mp3s with album art, play some movies, crank up splash photo, arcade reality or use Opera. for gods sakes man show people what it can do!

You can press the green button to bring up the dialer. And you don't have to tap the screen a lot, you can use the Treo mostly by just using the 5 way nav buttons. The threaded message system on the Treo has been around for a while (I had it when I was still on my Treo 600). You can customize the shortcut keys on the front as well. And my battery definitely lasts longer than a week on one charge.

there r progs that enable differant options for the phone. i have a program for the IR to config. remote controlers to your phone to your remote controler for your tv. I use alot of PDF files for like school and stuff. and the Mp3 player works good to. I have about 200 games on phone that i got from friends through beaming them between each other. it works great. one thing i dont like about the phone is when you sync to you PC I have done it once and I have problems with doing it again.

Has anyone had any success during hotsync???? When I try doing it with my Treo 755p it gives me an error message.. But if I go to device manager, the palm Os is there so my computer is reading the phone perfectly.. Any suggestions?????

The phone is actually nice and has alot of useful stuff if you have sprint and like palms. The only downside to this phone is the battery life. If you don't want TV or listen to music on it for a constant four hours it'll probably last a day and a half at best. Otherwise its an excellent phone. Feel better everyone?

1. You CAN do more than one thing at a time.

2. It is NOT designed to be a touch screen only phone.

3. The simplicity of it is NOT a bad thing, WINDOWS platforms really are lame in comparison.

4. You CAN make it to have a home screen.

5. It is HIGHLY customizable and you can download and install MANY unique programs and applications, including Office software.

This is the gayest review I've ever seen. He said that the Palm Treo is not optimized for anything other than touching the screen!!! Palm is the best about using one hand and the 5-way nav pad. This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. It's like, "Did you know that the Palm OS Treo also has a phone???????" Geez, get somebody in there that knows what they are talking about!!

I was thinking the same thing. Hello most people use butler and assign keys to launch applications so we don't need a home screen. home screens are gay. The closest thing i have to a home screen is TCPMP's album art or Tom Tom navigator. other than that my home-screen is whatever I'm running. besides; there are about a million launchers in the wild to chose from if thats your thing.
