oh yeah i use it for a week now and all green. gots a bout 10% drop battery life or maybe its the old li-ion +heat=lower total capacity deal.better question :will a tinfoil+thermal paste= e3pc perfect heatsink???
won tu-tu for crash is write can't play avi with out "level clocking" e3pc ormaybei need more rams. nviddiahs 9xs have auto under clocking modes. but no new cards smaller than a toaster oven.
I have an eeepc. The bios does not support running the processor at 900mhz by default. Anyone that has an eeepc has to flash the bios or use the above-noted method to get the full speed.
This is stupid. the eeepc defaulty has a 900MHz processor. You just switched the bios to run at 633Mhz, and then wrote a program to override the bios.
The bios runs at a default 633Mhz *I think* so you eather have to downgrade your bios and then overclock and then upgrade again or use eeeclock. Do some research. Yes the Eee has a 900mhz processor but Asus "Underclocked" this processor. What is nice about using the program is that it allows you to boost up the power when needed but lower it down to save power when you dont need more cpu speed.
Do a little research next time and make sure you know what your talking about ok Logan.
thanks for backing that statement up...this just goes to show that that no nothing dip stick dosn't even have the money to buy an eeepc and not enough sense to check what he says with what is real
get fanspeed to increase the fan speed!

will it be too hot if i overclock it?
mulogo 3 years ago
it can tend to get warm if you overclock it because it is putting more strain on the processor.
I would only over clock it when you need the horse power and then once you are done doing what ever needs that power

900MHz is shock speed. ASUS just downclocked it.
chrischoy9 3 years ago
Wrong. Stock is 800mhz ;)

Do you think I'm stupid? I have own a Eee PC before on CPU-z,
Sepectfcation Intel(R) Celeron M processor 900MHz
They say that for Celeron M virson of Eee PC is only 900Mhz and downclocked to 630MHz.
Its shown 900GHz on your video, so don't lie

900MHz

your right my bad. Its the Surf that is 800mhz.

I doubt tin foil would dampen the heat enough. Better thermal paste however would probably help

ya but flashing the bios is risky because you run the risk of bricking your eeepc
