I figured that, switched more by that toggle switch to pump air into them. Are the springed or does it shoot more air in the other side to release it? Any chance you have photos of the setup? Saw your post on the shopbot forum a little while back.
Thanks for the info, so those are mcmaster carr? Wondered if you had a brand/# for them. Was thinking of adding plastic bumpers on top of them to make them "oops" friendly as many commercial cnc routers do. Are yours switched or non-switched?
I was looking at the mcmaster catalog. Thanks for showing the video, any chance you have a specific name for those pins or item #? They have like 6 pages of air cylinders wasn't sure which one you used. Great work thanks for posting the video!

I have had better luck with the double action cylinders than the spring return version.

I dont have a brand or part # for them...yes they are switched, no they are not controlled by the software, but it wouldnt take much to do it.

THe Air cylinders used for the pop up pins are 1" diameter piston, 5/16 shaft and 3" stroke.
