  • Lyrics are available for free at my website: colloandspark. You can link directly from the YouTube video descriptions. I recently removed the lyrics for Presenting Perfectly because I've made some changes and will re-record the music and make a new video (within the next two months).

If you want the current lyrics, please just contact me through my websight (click 'contact' and send me an email) and I'll send you a pdf file.

Thank you for your interest and support. Collo and SPARK!

  • Your videos are the best thing I've found on the issues. Great! But where can I find the lyrics? Are they avaliable?

  • On another note, I've rewritten some of the lyrics for this song and am writing better music. Look out for a new version of Presenting Perfectly coming soon!

  • Thank you for your comment! I understand what you mean about not absorbing the grammar lesson this way. I didn't intend for this to be a person's introduction to learning the present perfect, nor do I believe that a song/video like this on its own is sufficient to learn any difficult grammar structure. The students who seem to be benefit most from this are the ones who have studied the present perfect the conventional way, know HOW to use it, but DON'T use it FLUENTLY.

  • Innovative teaching method indeed ! But I think it is not so appropriate to explain serious thing like grammar in this way. I have absorbed nothing after all, nonetheless, I still want to say thank you for your effort.

  • This is really helpful, i'm french, and THAT works better than Class =p

  • thank you.Your videos are really helpful for me))

    you're cool!

  • your videos are amazing! My 8th graders love them

  • woooooooooow))))))))

  • The preterite in French is unlike the simple past, which is more like passe compose (I get lost fast!). And this crazy present perfect simply doesn't exist.

Do I study? Make flashcards? Memorize lists? No! Relax, repeat, remember with Collo and Spark! to shoot light through the dark and get my brain out of park.

  • I speak French and I am confused. Sometimes I don't know what tense to choose.

It's never easy for me; one reason why is the uses in French often don't apply.

In English, it's -ing all the time for the present (in French 'en train de' is not that frequent).

  • @aichatatr Did you know that you're a poet? (: I'll continue...

  • yeah very cool ;D

  • nice!

  • Everything's good, Daniella! What's up with you?

Thanks for checking out my new video!

  • @collolearn First time i saw ur video mate. awsome! the groove is simple but cool! i'm hungarian, have been living in australia for four years, studying hard from the street (just like the guy u sang about) and still have problems with bloody PP. the understanding is spot on, but using it automatically? only general phrases. that makes me crazy and frustrated every time! Grrr! how could we open up the mind-gates naturally like babies??

  • @robika32 Thank you so much for watching! I have great respect for students like you who are trying hard to use English naturally. I really think I can help you "open the mind-gates naturally." Stay TUNED!

  • how are you doing and the video is cool
