1. I am not an evolutionary priest, there is no such thing. I make basic observations about the world around me, and I accept the best explanations.
2. Baptism is a practice strictly for the abrahamic religions, and would have no place outside of the supernatural. So no. I do encourage people to read and learn, however.
3. I'd use the same argument against religion. Believing in God doesn't make it fact. At least evolution has evidence.
I appreciate Dawkins' attempt at bridging the gaps in her understanding and using their uncommon referents for the sake of argument, but she is incapable of understanding anything outside of her theological constructs it appears. I wish he would have discussed the genetic evidence however for the sake of the viewers. We have to remember that when we argue with these loons, that we are talking to an audience, not just one person.

My father is a professor of neurobiology at the University of Michigan. My mom used to take me to visit him for lunch some days, and afterwards we'd sit in his office for a while and he'd talk to me about very basic biology, chemistry, and physics, while I drew on his whiteboard. I knew more about evolution and how the world works than this woman does by the time I was 4.

@fabienmaga I can offer this response in several parts.
1. I am not an evolutionary priest, there is no such thing. I make basic observations about the world around me, and I accept the best explanations.
2. Baptism is a practice strictly for the abrahamic religions, and would have no place outside of the supernatural. So no. I do encourage people to read and learn, however.
3. I'd use the same argument against religion. Believing in God doesn't make it fact. At least evolution has evidence.

I appreciate Dawkins' attempt at bridging the gaps in her understanding and using their uncommon referents for the sake of argument, but she is incapable of understanding anything outside of her theological constructs it appears. I wish he would have discussed the genetic evidence however for the sake of the viewers. We have to remember that when we argue with these loons, that we are talking to an audience, not just one person.

What possessed this woman to try and explain genetic mutation to Dawkins?? She trips over every other word and claims that there has never been a beneficial mutation... Darwin's finches on the Galápagos Islands is a perfect example of how a species of bird developed to survive: The shape of their beaks changed in order to deal with the new food sources on the islands. How is that not beneficial? And how is that not a prime example of evolution in action?
