The whole point of having dread falls is being able to change the colors around and play around with different styles. Also, none of us wants REAL dreads made from our real hair. Have you ever seen white people dreads?? They look awful and all lumpy and it is non-reversable once they are there. You have to pretty much shave your head when you want to change them. And you cannot have hair that looks like dreadlocks without having dreadlocks....not sure what you were thinking there.

Why don't you just grow your hair long, and then dye your locks yellow? That way you don't need dreads! Duh!!!!

With that said, not using conditioner isn't going to work if I get these--it's a need for Black natural hair. I'm guessing I'll just have to re-braid after washing?

Is it cheaper to by pre-made dreads or to just buy the bags of synthetic hair (Kanekalon) and make your own?

And if it is cheaper to make your own, how many bags of synthetic hair do you use to make about 100-120 dreads... (ones about 24 inches long and about a 1/2 an inch long, if you are wondering)

It has nothing to do with Dread care... but this question has been bothering me for awhile now.

@hondadohc18 100 %Toyokalon yaki braids or yaki switches, if that is what you're trying to say, yes you can use them. They are slightly more expencive and you get slightly less, shorter hair, and it is slightly harder to work with, but 100% toyokalon is totally fine if you are alright with the drawbacks. I have some dreads made from it and they are fine! So yep! Do it up. So long as it says 100% toyokalon on there somewhere, you're in the clear!

@MashimaroNamida Det är precis tvärtom, om något är det bra för håret. ja, när du haft i dom och ska fläta ut dom tappar man sjukt mycket hår, men det är de hår som man "naturligt" skulle tappat ändå., bara att när det är så inflätat så går det inte. det har varit jättebra för mitt hår, det får liksom vila, inte borsta och styla alls, eller tvätta lika ofta.

En människa tappar ca 100 hårstrån, har man dreads så stannar dem här hårstråna kvar i dreadsen. Och nu ska jag skaffa syntetiska dreads...

Och jag undrar hur länge man kan ha kvar dem här syntetiska dreadsen... Och när tiden tar slut kan man plocka ut dem och sätta in samma då? bara få det att släppa håret...
