Im born and raised in Amsterdam. I know what im talking about. The paper tip isn't used as a filter. Just a little smoking tool. I tried the american way without paper tips. You can smoke it that way but im not used to it.

A paper tip has absolutely no effect on the strongness of the joint. Its just handy. So this dicussion is pointless.
