You get money from them on % so u have the amount you borrowed but you dont have the money to pay the % so you need to borrow even more and that is on another % and so on... Constant printing money creates as you described inflationary spin, that is a hidden tax called inflation on us - the tax payers.

Our President has borrowed $6.4 Trillion in his 4 year term and fed the entire amount to his Campaign Contributors in so called Stimulus Programs and Jobs Programs. The money stayed in the hands of his campaign donors and never made it to create a single job. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. No jobs were created our Tax Revenues decreased 16%. No economy stimulated-GDP stuck.
