I love this film! And I mostly love Alan Rickman, he is so beautiful, and charming, and sexy, and he is such a great actor! If I were Marianne, I would have chosen colonel Brandon over Willoughby!

I love his voice, and everything about him!

What I find that really show how talented Alan is as an actor is the passage from 3:20 to 3:37, when Marianne calls him before he closes the door, and say him "thank you", we can see his face illuminating, and we almost hear him think: "Finally, she saw me"

Nah. I'm 14 and personally think that he was incredibly handsome, and he has a wonderfully masterful and silkily commanding voice. I just admire Alan as an actor though - I don't fancy him - but I do 'fancy' him as Snape because I think he is unutterably perfect for that character. Everytime, I read this book or watch this amazing film, it moves me. The Colonel's story is so terribly heart-wrenching, add that with Alan Rickman's performance and it is powerful. One of the only 5 films that brings tears to my eyes.

And, as already mentioned... Alan is truly a fine man in nearly every way. You know Alan actually means handsome, lol. Plus, those intriguing mannerisms, and then there's that wonderful voice
