I'm a big fan of the Axis Dojo and Mr. Tatsuya Onose. However, I just wanted to point out that this sweep is done in both judo and japanese jujutsu. Its called sumi gaeishi. But I do appreciate the video just the same.
"AXIS"!! AXIS is run by takamasa watanabe. hes a 2nd degree blackbelt under rickson gracie! n he has around 5-6 blackbelts under him. everytime the BTT travels to japan for fights n such, they all train at AXIS. rickson, kron, andre galvao n others were training there last month as well for the rickson gracie cup held n tokyo. there are also alot more clubs with just as much talent as the AXIS guys. definatley underrated! not sure about the overrated part!?
I would certainly have to agree with this statement. Does anyone know of a BJJ Japan type of organization? I haven't seen one central type of hub where they are all listed and such.
@smilz It's just that they don't get as much exposure, because they do not win a lot of world title. But often times the best guys don't win titles because they get stalled out or lose on small points to guys who are technically inferior to them. That is not to say all world champions in BJJ do this, but many do.
omg its sumi gaeshi!
