  • @gino26gman this is a great question. BigAndy is on a very low calorie diet as he is trying to shred. The likely of over training with HEAVY DUTY is definitely there so we are actually going to add an extra day off in our cycle. So this week we will have 5 days of rest in between our workouts. and if need be we will add more off days.

  • @komoh Work on compound exercises and eat 5-6 times a day.

  • @ShadoWGlideR1 5-6 times? does it matter what i eat... i bought some whey protein but i honestly dont know how or whey to use it, i'm a NOOB at weights and nutrition stuff... just too skinny lol

  • @komoh Use the whey protein as a supplement to a good diet. I take my whey protein in a smoothie immediately following my workout. Check out the rest of our videos and you will see a bunch of great smoothie recipes that you can make.

  • @komoh Eat healthy foods. No fast food.. Go for the all natural types of foods. whole wheats, all natural peanutbutter, oatmeal,lean meats like steak,fish,CHICKEN which is the easiest to get in my opinion.. also drink milk.

  • @komoh Compound excercises usually referer to movements in which there are multiple joints involved. Example: Bench Press is a multi joint exercise predominately the elbow joint and the shoulder joint. Biceps curls are not a compound exercise because movement is only about the elbow joint. So basically what SHADOWGLIDER1 is saying is stick with the heavy mass movements. No isolation stuff.

  • @PetersonChevy Agreed, the only real isolation movements we do during the training cycle is for shoulders. Rear delts and laterals. This is a pretty cool workout though, plenty of rest and a huge increase in strength.

  • @komoh Actually I meant HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING THE MIKE MENTZER WAY. That is his most recent book and contains all the newest tricks and secrets. Also... Think about making your legs HUGE! If you make your legs massive, the rest of the body will follow!!

  • @komoh Find your basal metabolic rate, over a 5 day span. User the ratios 60/25/15 Carbs, protein and fats. IT WORKS!! Eat a well balanced diet

  • @komoh Also, yes legs! I know it sounds weird, but if you get your legs to grow your whole body will grow at about 4 times the speed! Use the Ideal Routine from the book HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING THE MIKE MENTZER WAY. or you can follow our BLOG
