  • They're wearing pjs cause that's they're home.

  • Hmmm... This is strange. All gymnastic shorts and leotards I see here are made in China. But on this video the kids practice in... pajamas!!!

  • touching there bums sick

  • why r they wearing PJs?

  • i've seen alot worse on other videos this isn't bad

  • i like the part where he slapped the kids ass

  • that is so sad

  • lol do they sleep at the gym?? why do they train in pajamas lol. maybe they live there....hmm

  • LOL would like th coach to push them down with his whole weight, :D

  • emm i thought the coach looked nice i think he was just trying to help them by posisining them but i think that somtimes to lern you need a good working coach

  • what where they training

  • abuse by competetive adults. Olympic Medals for insane dictators. This is video proof.Dont say its normal training. IT AINT.

  • @lexarquette ahahaha fuck no it isint, anyone who calls gymnastics normal is confused but anyone who calls it abuse is just as well off. Sure i walk home with ripped up hands and soreness beyond reason the next day but then again i know that the next day will end; exactly the same.

  • The trainer looks really nice XD

  • they cant do it i prob can do some of there stuff but the coaches r fat like pigs and i would kick there asses

  • @captrockhp dont underestimate gymnasts, the biggest lesson ive learned is do NOT assume your coach has shown you everything. If you can do "some of there stuff" then post a video of it, if you can kick their asses then why exactly have i not seen you in the olympics? oh right, you cant do shit :)

  • nothing in that video was actually bad... at all... he was just positioning them properly

  • i know how horrible they should be givin a choice if they wanna do gymnastics

  • what do you mean it's normal waring pj's?

  • yes mine too so a litle bit

    more

  • r they wearing pajamas?

  • he's like touching their butts!

  • training.. not preverted..

  • so? what are you seriuosly that sick minded? jeez, this is a training technique, he's pushing on them to make sure they're secure and don't collapse, tjhis is totally normal.

  • the guy trying thme seems really nice!

  • One thing i like about this gymnastic school is that you join in gymnastic school cost free. The USA gymnastic school cost you to join.

  • so true, it makes gymnastics a sport for white girl exclusively

  • r u like racism or something??

  • show me a black American gymnast?? any successful one? SHow me a black American swimmer? Don't be blind to racism in this society.

  • I wasnt trying to be racis sryy if you thought that though

  • Welll, Dominique Dawes was a very sucessfull gymnast and a member of 1996 olympics team!! She was black !

It's not because someone is black, hes bad!

  • ofcourse not :) but i think it wasnt his/her meaning to accuse black people

  • @66QQ66 dear dick, annia hatch was a black gymnast for 2004 athens for usa and dominique dawes was a 1996 olympic team gold medalist. guess what? she was BLACK!

  • @chikako8395 i go to the gym that annia hatch teaches at :D

  • @arman1008 cool.

  • @arman1008 het is helemaal niet cool het is heel zielig en het doet pijn dus hou je grote bek dicht

  • Thank you so much for the enlightening and brilliant conversation and for pointing out the benefits of a communist dictatorship (sarcasm intended). I feel that over the next generation, China gov't will indeed become more democratic and allow more freedom for its citizens. We can poke holes in our democratic form of govt all day, but you will never convince me that a communist dictatorship is a better way......

  • You are welcome. I feel you will suffer your democratic regime before I really suffer my regime. I still remember in May 2007, all Investment Banks, except for GB, issued financial reports on China's fragile economy. One year later, three of big 5 are gone. Thanks American economic crisis to let Chinese economy to cool down a little bit. I hope you can enjoy the Super Monday and your democracy that enabled this to happen. Best regards.

  • And any documents issued by a Communist gov't are questionable.

  • I agree, but I suggest you to be conscious about everything issued by your own government and corporations. Why did Ben Ladin's video showed up right after Obama said he would have dialogue with Iran? Why did Ben Laden's video emerged during 2004 presidential campaign? Why did the reports issued by the Wall street financial agents look perfect right before the subprime crisis happened? It is easy to challenge a totalitarian regime, but hard to be critical to a nation manipulated by "free" media

  • No gov't is perfect, but a democratic gov't is best.

  • japan has a democratic regime, it can't prevent American soldiers from raping their women. South Korean is a democratic government, it can't stopp selling American beef and hurting their peasants. SAAKASHVILI

is an elected president, he can trade the life of Georgia people to his political goal-joining the NATO. The recently elected president of Packistan has a nick name "Mr. Ten percent." Chen Shui-bian, the former president of Taiwan, just gives you another counter-example.

  • Chinese system is acturally good. Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao are both from a regular families and had elite education. The election process is highly complex and well planned. Potential officials were sent to different positions to approve their abilities by the party. The one who won the majority in the Party becomes the leader. It IS an elite regime, but most citizens can't make rational decision and can be easily trapped in identity politics.

  • Let's look for a minute at the negative aspects of a totalitarian regime. No public forum to discuss political issues. The decision of the communist party is final. No bad talking the communist party in public. No talk of organizing another political party. The communist party controls the press. The gov't, to a certain extent, controls the dissemination of all information to the public. I would rather live in a free and democratic society, but that is just me. One person one vote.

  • At least we are free to express ourselves as we see fit regarding the decisions of our politicians. Look to the west for creative and inventive thinking. The communist gov't suppresses free and creative thought. Anyhow, to each his own. I don't think I would fair well under the Chinese gov't.

  • Ultimately, a true communist society will fail. That is why China has to go Capitalist....

  • China won't enjoy demoncracy until the day the US declines. China learns the lesson from USSA & Russia (thank Russia's bloody experiment). The US wants a weak/democratic Russia. In a real democratic Russia, Putin won't be elected. China doesn't want the NATO to set missiles around its border, as NATO did to Russia. Go capitalist=/Go democracy. What China is doing is a highly centralized democracy with a strong control of capital flows and public land ownership. China is the queer.

  • I agree, it's free to express yourself here. However, the society's so "free" that someone's voice is habitually ignored. Just like the old couple demonstrates in front of white house over years, it won't make anything change. In China, if an alternative voice is heard, if it is related to people's interests, it would generate a tremendous influence. Google "The Internet in China: A Force for Democracy or Oppression?" It gives you a good example. Chinese are more sophisticated on using the web

  • Because the Chinese government literally doesn't have legitimacy, so it is fully performance-based. Doesn't like premier in Japan or president in Taiwan, you can just step down & get a life. The worst case, you spend monthes in jail. If the chinese one fails, these "totalitarian" leaders won't be able to survive, like the former Romanian regime.

  • Chinese cyberspace is as vibrate as American's. Indeed, the internet becomes a tool for grass-roots to push goverment to change. The strange thing is, the government has started to get information about what the people want from internet. During the earthquake, if any topic/problem attracts the public's attention, it would be soon settled by the government. Sure, I am saying the government can be pushed to democratize itself overnight, but it did very well to meet people's need.

  • no pain no gain

  • he look like a pervert!!! o.o my gimnastic teacher never toch my butt like that!!!

  • haha I know!! now I can see y my mom was like ''ummm lets get u a female coach just for saftey''

  • It's a combination of the asshole chinese gov't and greedy parents. Poor kids.

  • We have our life here in the states..we should worried kids in Africa first at leat kids in china still have food to eat.

  • We should take care of our own first. We have kids going hungry right here in the U.S.

  • Exactly!! I might be wrong on this, but it feels like most of american don't really give a shit about chinese gymnastic until they beat us this year. Is it sour grape? Or we can can't take defeats that well? and starting point fingers around "THE AGE PROBLEM"

  • it's their own choice man. do some research (bias free research).

  • I did, you knuckle head. It's not their choice, the chinese gov't chooses them becoz they seem to have some potential.

  • Poor kids don't even have a choice. They spend all day training for 15 minutes of fame. The chinese gov't steals the childhood from them.

  • sorry, i have never heared of anyone in china forced to go to school like this. it is totally up to their own wish and interests. you should read more and listedn more and look more before make such comments.

  • It's not up to them. Do your reading, research, and listen!!!

  • I did some research. low-income family in China wants their kids to be on the national team. The gov don't FORCE you to join, you actually have to take your kids in and get examine by the gov, they well to test on you bone, body..etx. and choice the one they feel can peak the most.

  • Ok, low income families can take their kids for "try-outs", I will give you that. I also know the gov't actively looks for kids that have the potential for these Olympic events.

I have a Chinese friend who left China for the USA after he graduated from the university.

You gotta admit the chinese team does look very young. You can tell the teams of other countries are teenagers. I have to admit that after the Chinese team did win Gold, I did come here to view the videos.

  • Some poor families did want their children to excel through alternative approaches. It is true in USA. Black kids all dream about to be NBA stars, no matter they have the potential or not. Why does this problem become a problem exclusive for China? I teach tons of American undergraduate students, some of them are student athletes. Their families pay for their training, hoping to send them to better college with scholarship. Why do you think it is problematic if it happens in China?

  • some kids' parents just want kids to develop some interests. From 5-12 years old, most childrens train gymnastics after schools. If you did really well, the coach will bring you to provincial team to test. If you are in, you get monthly salary. Those who can't go to provincial teams just continue their study at school and go to college. I was one of them, I am finishing my Ph.D. in USA. What I am telling you is not propoganda but my personal experiences.

  • force? what do you mean by force, did they use a gun to force them? did they use military power to intimidate them? or the government says if you don't go, we will kill you?

I don't like school and study when i was little, and i always wanted to escape from kindergarden, but my parents kept draging me to there. have I been forced or not?

next time, don't just read, listen and look. Think is much more important and produce a better comment

  • Ok, you are right. But do these kids look like they are having a good time?

  • obviously, life has been treating you well for you to ask this stupid question. for some people, life has never been easy.

if i only care about having good time, i would've not staring at computer for more than 10 hours just to finish an assignment.

and the Olympic would have not existed. even it did exist, no one would give a shit about training hard. people might just run around naked. coz that's easy and more fun

  • You know, I didn't even ask a question. I made a statement. Yes life is good, but I have worked long and hard. I a 43 years old with two kids, and I just couldn't do what the parents do in this video....With as much money as the Chinese gov't has, they should provide free k-12 education to the children, as we do here in the USA. That way at least the kids could get a decent job after they finish high school and support their parents.

But that is a whole different topic.

  • 1. "with as much money as the Chinese gov't has" what a blunt statement!

let me remind you, China is a third world country and is a relatively poor country.

    2. "as we do here in the USA" and here comes again, do you realize there are many differences (in terms of economics, cultural, political and social) exist between countries?

How do you know Chinese kids don't get educations, can't get decent jobs and support their parents?

  • 1)I believe the Chinese gov't spent about 2 billion dollars on the Olympics. The gov't has trillions of dollars and could make China a first world country. How many schools, hospitals and roads could be built for 2

    billion dollars???

    2) You mentioned low income families. I mentioned that the kids should be educated for free from k-12 grade in order for them to support their parents later on in life.

  • "I believe the Chinese gov't spent about 2 billion dollars on the Olympics", are u the chinese finance minister now?

obviously, you understanding about hosting the Game is only about investing money, and receive monetary benefits. Do you even do research on Olympics history and why so many countires compete to host it?

  • until one day you realize people are so different in the world, otherwise there is no any point to argue this topic.

americans like you have lived for hundreds of years. Chinese like us have lived for thousands of years, if our government is really that crappy, why a "shit and wrong" country like China still exists and growing?

Culture and people survive becoz of some reasons.

  • I never said your country was "shit and wrong" as you put it! Please try to read carefully, even though I know english is your second language. Yes, the USA has only been around for a few hundred years, and China for a few thousand. So why is the USA so far ahead of China. It only took us a few hundred years to be the world's superpower!

  • what can i say, "superpower", such a funny, childish term. you r such a typical american, arrogant and narrow minded. no wonder the country's economy is collapsing and going backwards.

  • I am done with this discussion. You win, Okay?

  • omg haha ur sounding like my teacher when we talk and stuff and he was like ''this is why china and japan are {like over powering us or something?? by their knowledge} and we has like ''your going 2 be arrogant and graduate from college like all of our idiots in the aconomey then u dont need 2 be at school'' and then all of us got quiet. haaha

  • now you criticising my second language. at lease i got this ability and dare to use this language to comment back.

"So why is the USA so far ahead of China" let me remind you again, 200 yrs in a very short period of time in human history, let's wait and see who wins last.

PS: becoming the "superpower" is never our goal, we merely want to live with pride and try not invading other countries.
