Well, as a guitarist I have to give it up. Nicely done take on Harrison. Yeah. He is very underrated. He always made it sound simple, but always played, paradoxically, with tremendous taste and sophistication (for a rock guitarist). Whoever plays here, nice job. Well done.
This song is based on the Bhagavad Gita verse 2.14, " the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, , and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed." The Gita teaches that the way to not become distrubed is to focus on our eternal loving relationship with Sri Krishna, the Supreme Lord. George did so much to make the world better !
Dude, you nailed George's 'simple' but complex to play underrated gem from '79's George Harrison LP. I've tried this, tuning DADGBE, right? It's hard, and as another poster said, 'great Pee-jammies'! How about "Here Comes The Moon"?
hey man, congrats, this is superb. I play open tunings myself. Come on , give me more of that stuff. That s what we need. Thanks a lot. keep on the good work. Andreas
fantastic playing man. thanks a tonne for the upload.

what is the open tuning?
davidfsnyder 1 year ago
@davidfsnyder
I believe the tuning is what is called DADGAD:
Low E (sixth string) is tuned down to D.
Fourth and fifth strings are unchanged.
Third string (G string) is tuned down to Gb (or F#).
Second string (B string) is tuned down to A.
First string (high E string) is tuned down to D.
Enjoy!

majortomister - Just had a look online and it looks like it's in Open D tuning: D A D F# A D
That maybe why you're finding it hard to play in standard tuning. Good luck!
