I have a serious question for a fundamentalist. Why do you call evangelism "soul-winning?" It is a fact that, biblically, the "soul" is the collection of our mind, will, & emotion. I know it is also bible truth that our soul is saved, however, it falls under the process of sanctification here on earth. When one receives salvation through Christ, it is his/her spirit that is born again, not the soul. So, why is it called soul-winning?
