Speer contrived after the War to appear the good Nazi, the voice of reason in a chorus of madness. In reality, however, he was Hitler's fawning little sycophant and supplicant. Speer loved Adlf Hitler. When all was over he sought but one thing: survival and at any cost. He would have done better to not behave with such sheer cowardice. History will rightly regard him as disingenuous, as a weak figure concerned with little but his own skin after his power was gone.

In my opinion Speer didn't organize the rally but just designed it...He wasn't ranked high enough yet to organize the rally
