Xao ming in my opinion is a bit off and overact sometimes. But Yifei in my opinion is the best XLN. Her acting is the strongest among the other actresses acted as XLN. If they can't act, try to look and observe previous versions. Actors' acting in previous versions sucks. Seems like they're just practicing for a school play.

The yang Guo character is really build up by this Gentleman, also the other characters. The best from the old one only Andy Lau, because he was too cute and so young !!! But the story line was too rushed

Seriously man, the 95 version is the best. The 2006 version is so full of over exaggerated stuff, they make it so dramatic...that it made me go BS and WTF!?!?! Keep it simple like the 95 version for god sake! but yeh, guo and xln in here are good looking people, but they can't act that well...

I will have to agree that this gugu just looks way too young, even wong xiu ming looks a lot older compared to her (really makes no sense). also, Liu Yifei looks way too emotional and dramatic. You should really watch the 1983 first tv series of ROCH. I think Andy Lau and Idy Chan did the best interpretation of these characters. (and honestly Carmen Lee is prettier than Liu).
