  • Saudades...

  • Whoever voted "Dislike" should get cancer and die in a fire.

  • @CatapultYourMom ok... that is not the thunderbird spirit my friend! very disappointed :(

  • @thetormentsofhell Sometimes I called my screens Thunderbirds

I called my XBOX 360 Thunderbird 1, My Computer Thunderbird 2, My Talktalk mail Thunderbird 3 & I don't want my screen is Thunderbird 4 or Thunderbird 5 I would think?

  • Hey!....Was that Burt Reynolds at 00:30?

  • Awesome show :P can't beat TB 2 :P

  • Now I never saw this in the 60s, but I was lucky enough to whitness its revival on BBC2 daytimes

  • @SirCrouch1 Is it for about um 11 years ago before that of after?

  • @MrSuperpigeon It would have been around 2000 or 2001

  • @SirCrouch1 Is it on a Tuesday evenings & a catch up on a Saturdays mornings before lunchtimes on BBC2 for about 11 years ago I should think?

  • The best bit about TB3 was not only did it go into space and was red, but it came back from space and reversed back into its pad through the roundhouse - imagine doing that with a Saturn V?

  • When I was a little girl like five yrs old, apparently I use to be obsessed with this show.... lol

  • was that Burt Reynolds at 0.29?

  • sem noção ehm!!

  • @thetormentsofhell Do the boys called The Thunderbirds 1,2,3,4,5 Machines are girls?

  • @the tormentsofhell Do Thunderbirds Machines are girls?

  • Thuderbirds...the greatest puppet show in the history of mankind!!!

  • Great show. Brings back a lot of great memories.

  • thunderbird 3 was my favourite, now that was a proper rocket

  • Fuck Jonathan Frakes and his ass raping of this show.

  • Amazing show.

  • The first 15 seconds was Chuck Norris taking a shit

  • max keiser at 1:01

  • Man, I loved this show when I was a kid.

  • Fucking Burt Reynolds 0:28

  • well, after the royal wedding looks like kate married scott lol

  • I vaguely remember this series, though I never watched it on a regular basis. Isn't that Burt Reynolds at about 0:29 in the intro clip? I swear it looks just like him. It looks like he was probably a villian.

  • @cherylcn

It's actually the Hood in disgusie

  • It was all filmed in Slough!

  • All flight attendants should dress like the crew of International Rescue.

    They. Just. Should.

  • SO MANY EXPLOSIONS!

  • supermarionation!

  • "Five...Four...Three...Two...One...Thunderbirds are go!"

  • Generally, the bad guys in thunderbirds had a stalin style moustache and wore beige. And if there was an arabic chap, you shouldn't trust him. That and the mexican who poisons the beans in one episode.

  • Digging Lady Penelope's stylish cigarette holder.

  • I got a bit part in this. Somebody pulled a few strings for me.

  • @LOCOMOTIONNUMBER1 i lold

  • MAN I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

  • @TheStealthX it's educational too. I learned English from watching this time after time after time... Plus, it teaches how to recognize the bad-guy in every single motion picture!!!

  • I am 46 years old and this theme tune still gives me goose bumps

  • @TheTWIX0 Amen my man, amen!!!! Same here.

  • My very first memory of television in my life in Portugal! I was about 4 years old!

  • Super Mario Nation? When did that game come out?

  • You gotta wonder what was done to the puppets after the show went extinct.

  • @Nascarrrrrrfan They were thrown away!!! A guy found 3 or 4 of them in a dumpster in London and sold them for a small fortune.

  • @Nascarrrrrrfan they probably destroyed them.

  • love it !!

  • I used to love this shit ^^

  • Always felt sorry for 5's pilot, just hanging around up there by himself lol

  • @Jiemusu89 I agree! They sorta just stuck him with the job nobody wanted. I bet he was the unloved child.

  • @Jiemusu89 LOL "hanging around"I couldn't have said it better myself LOL he was always tired up. LOL

Oh I liked this show it was my #1 show re-run of the early 70's

  • @Jiemusu89 I remember a few times when T-Bird 3 made trips to the T-Bird 5 space station.

  • @Jiemusu89 actually, in some episodes he and Alan switced places for that reason

  • @Jiemusu89 I'm just wondering how TB5 got transported into space.....

  • @Jiemusu89 Feel sorry for 1's pilot. 2 is the most important, and 3 does everything 1 can do. Tbird1 is worthless.

  • @RXdash78 TB1 is a quick-response aircraft, it gets to the scene the fastest so it can be assessed on how bad it actually is. So in my opinion it's one the most important ones

  • @RXdash78 Thunderbird 1 is the most important, and Thunderbird 3 is one of the least important, because 3 can ONLY be used while in space. And there are barely any accidents in space.

  • @andrewstartrekmario

No.... but every month John and Alan Change places in Thunderbird 5, and without TB3 I do't see how it's possible, and thunderbird four isn't used too often either

  • @Jiemusu89 dude, his job was to sit on arse all day watching TV and probably downloading porn. In a freaking space station. Find me one guy in his 20's who wouldn't kill for that job.

  • @Jiemusu89 me too!

  • At 0:29 .......Burt Renoylds? LOL

  • Thanks for the smile. Me, on a Saturday morning, in the suburbs of Los Angles, eating Captain Crunch sometime in the late 60s. Always loved the show. still want my own island with a house built into the mountain. Thanks again

  • Good old british. Always best. And all the Americans do is take our ideas and make them shit.

  • @CODMWFAN91 There is some truth to your assertion. Unfortunately, you Brits took one of America's worst policies and put us to shame!

You've taken America's self-polluting immigration policies and REALLY bolluxed up yourselves with 3rd Worlders! Another 2 or 3 decades and all those white marionettes in the Thunderbirds TV reruns will seen totally out of place. The idea that such futurism could ever exist in Londonistan will seem utterly ridiculous. Turbo-goats, yes, but not Thunderbirds!

  • @InfiniteMushroom Got a problem with that?

  • piss off

  • I used to race home every day from school to watch these dudes (and dudettes) and that's why my knees are frigged today.

Great momentum + gravity + untied shoes = gimpy walking when you're older. Still, I learned much from this program. Things like: You can't save the world without some kind of rocket ship and If you're gonna be smart you need to look smart and that requires big rimmed glasses. (see my photo...)

It helps to be able to count backwards, too. I used this with my kids. 3,2,1...!

  • LOVE THIS SHOW! :) BRILLIANT!!!

    Ade

  • supermarionation lol

  • if they're going to make a live action movie of candyland, then they should make one of this one

  • A live action version of the Thunderbirds? Uh, they *did*, staring Bill Paxton who played Fred Haise in !Apollo 13"

  • que recuerdos más hermosos...gracias al que subió esto...me emocionó de verdad, eran muy buenos los Thunderbirds, el que las llevaba pesado era scott tracy.

  • memories, thnx

  • well, now we know what team america is based off of.

  • LOL more like YOU just found out... anyone born in the 50's would have seen this on TV, not including the 50 other shows like it

  • ew that movie is gross its fucking stupid lol

  • @evilmidget Yep, Team America: World Police was based heavily off of the Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet, especially when it came to its animation.

  • @evilmidget in visuals alone i find

  • This rocks aaarrrghhh!!!haaha

  • this show is F.A.B *lol*

  • Thank you for reminding me what it wa slike back then, to watch these shows first-run! It was great being a kid and using your imagination to join the crew of these heroic groups. Thanks Again!

  • i used to watch this as a kid..it was so awsome!

  • It was so tormenting to see 'filmed in Videcolor' on a B&W screen- I had to imagine what it was like in colour.

  • Ah, I loved this when I was a kid.

Whatever happened to that show UFO?

  • Great!

  • And what the hell was F.A.B supposed to stand for? I think they were playing on A.O.K, but they never explained it.

  • FAB wasnt meant to stand for anything. it was just FAB as in fabulous.

  • I remember in my 3rd grade cless we had a kid that looked just like "Engineer Brains" I miss those days of the sixties. We had so much fun. We'd watch these episodes and then talk about them at recess. Sure enough everyone would start to make fun of the guy that looked like Engineer Brains.

  • Oh I used to love this show

  • I love the Thunderbirds!

    Look for:

    :23, Patrick Stewart

    :30, Burt Reynolds

  • after some years these starts make me laugh,

i dont mean to disrespect this,i liked this show when i was realy young.

  • weres dick tracy lol

  • There was certainly an intoxicating headiness of those years and the TV programming reflected the spirit of the times. Today, with a hellish New World Order upon us, programming is designed cast our eyes down to the ground, distract us with entertainment designed for low-grade morons, and convince us that we are slaves. Thunderbirds is more than just a superb exercise of claymation, it is a glimpse back to an era when so much was possible and within reach. Alas, all of it has been snatched away.

  • Excellent observation InfiniteMushroom. Me and my brother were talking about that the other day. It seems like intelligence has left all of TV programming.

  • Iv got the whole box set on DVD. The box set includes all 32 episodes on 8 discs (4 on each) and special features on all of them. The box i got is rare cause only 5000 have bin made. And on the bak it say what number mine was. I was 3705 :)

  • i remember "thunderbirds" ive still got the vhs series in my closit =D

  • OMFG I USED TO LOVE THUNDERBIRDS =3

  • the movie was the best

  • rofl great, but i hate gordan, he is a dick head and stuffs everything up,

international rescue could do better without medaling little nobheads like him, GARHHH!

  • i love lady penelope :P

  • Who doesn't?

  • I prefer Tintin (or whatever was the chinese woman's name)

  • That was from "Cry Wolf".

Thunderbirds was the best part of growing up in the 60s!!
