  • that was a good movie remo williams man i can't &^%$ing belive it was so long ago owwwwwwwwwwwwww shit that means i'mmmm way to old aahhh shoot an get it over BANG hehe

  • 2 guys failed Chuins test

  • Proper 80's tune

  • All right, what 2 jackasses disliked this song?! This is an awesome song!!

  • great song from a great movie!!

  • Fucking yeah!!!!!

  • i love the 80,s music nice song.

  • I'd like to hear him re record this now. Somewhere under all that 80's style production there's a good song.

  • @demonhoopa what do you mean? 80's production is PERFECT !!!

  • @alcyon2sp Ewe yuck! LOL :)

  • I LOVE THIS AND TOMMY SHAW...I WISH HE'D RELEASE ANOTHER SOLO....YEP I WANT THAT TIME FRAME BACK SOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!

  • @Beechbaybee Tommy's actually coming out with another solo CD on March 22. It's called "The Great Divide" and is bluegrass. The tracks he's put out so far are amazing.

  • @Beechbaybee I think he did recently. It's bluegrass.

  • Great music and great movie too. Thanks

  • i forgot they gave the statue of liberty a new paint job in the eighties. then there was the washington monument in the ninties. what's the next upgrade? the rocky mountains with bear gryll so disabled vets can chill out.

  • love tommy shaw !!! great song

  • never saw this one before but WOW THAT WAS GREAT WHAT IF.

  • Tommie, you listen to Dennis again? Good luck. Luv you! Sheryl.,not Crow...lol

  • Remo! Remo! Remo!

  • What If I was as cool as the Keytar Player..... That would be awesome

  • Im pretty cool but What If I was as cool as Tommy Shaw? I'd probably be immortal

  • It will be what a refreshing Nana music.

    Thank you,so much.

  • Back when music was great, now its crap with this rap bull shit, they act black when there white thats pathethic..wonder why im still stuck in the past, 50s through the 80s is the best era. anyways keep on rocking

  • @jason75 I agree great music but what do you mean by acting black not all black people are the same you know they have different tastes too.

  • Great song from a time when MTV was cool! Nowadays MTV sucks!!!!!

  • i love this movie, and all these years that i've had the vhs, and dvd, i never realized it was tommy shaw singing this song, holy sh*t. Now I love it even more.

  • Great Song! also great movie Remo Williams

  • really nice song,,,,, got lost with time,,,,,its however still one of my favorite songs

  • Tommy Shaw rocks!Styx isn't the same without him.Best collaboration ever Shaw/Blades!

  • I like how they're singing on the prop head of the Statue of liberty for the movie. It was built for close up shots in the movie.

  • This song is so badass my dog's face melted when it cranked it at full blast...

  • Holy crap, it's the Keytar!! They are probably one of the stupidest inventions ever.

  • As has been guessed, that is not the real Statue of Liberty. A replica was built in Mexico City for the shooting of the movie. It was damaged in an earthquake.

  • actually .. all the log shots showing the Statue ARE in NY at Lady Liberty.. the scaffolding is from the restoration project begun by Lee Iacoca for the 100th anniversay celebration of Lady Liberty

  • I remember that because honestly the old girl needed a facelift at the time. But Reagan turned on the Torch when she was all done. It was on TV and stuff.

  • Yup! Its strange to consider that the WTC wasn't around until the 70's and since it's collapse we've seen similar trash from then around now and the collapse happened shortly after stronger drugs appeared on the streets at cheaper prices.

  • I love this movie since I was a child....

  • me to. it brings back soooo good memmorys. to you my best wishes from a remo willams fan

  • That means alot coming from somebody who has Le Tigre videos in their favorites folder. There are a ton of great musicians out there making great music that is far better than alot of the popular music from the 1980s - but Le Tigre sure as shit isn't among it. Every generation has their music that in retrospect isn't that great, but it is theirs and it remains a (sometimes guilty) pleasure for the rest of their lives. So shut the fuck and enjoy the music, or piss off ya stupid twat. Either way.

  • Terrific song!!

  • I always crank my TV at full blast just to hear this song by Tommy Shaw

  • One of the FUNNEST action movies ever made!! While it does have it's light moments, even its' funny moments, it remains serious enough to keep ones' anticipation up for the inevitable showdown at the end. Wonderful cast! Fred, I wish they had done a sequel or two sooner on the heels of the release of this one. You gave a realistic reluctance to becoming 'the Destroyer'...

  • there was a pilot released at one point with Roddy MacDowell playing Chun but it never caught on, to be honest I don't think they ever planned on it.

  • You are right...the movie had Joey Bishop playing Chun and the studio thought about making a TV show out of it. They filmed one pilot with some other dude playing Remo and Roddy McDowell playing Chun. It failed....I saw it last month on Encore movie channel because they had it listed as the freaking movie?! LOL I was watching it at like 2:00am and it was a bunch of nobodys and it was only 42 minutes long. I sent an email to Encore/Starz to tell them they had a TV pilot listed as a movie...

  • @Swordsfor200Alex Wondering If you know why they didn't finish the series?

  • Usually studio's preview any pilot with test audiences and I am sure that this one scored so low they cancelled any more episodes other than the pilot that had already been filmed. The TV actor playing Remo was just horrible.

  • Er...Joel Grey played Chiun in the Remo movie.

  • Sorry....You are obviously correct - Joel Grey. I don't personally know why I stuck Joey Bishop in that sentence???

  • @Eclipse2582 Grey accepted the rol due the make-up... it´s true, coleguilla!!

  • Love Tommy but this was WAY TOO Poppy, esp given Styx went way too Poppy as well.

  • tommy is way more talented than he gets credit for! styx was just a vehicle to get him to where he is today.the borders book videos are awesome wish i could see him in such a intimate setting

  • tremors and remo williams what greater 2 movies could fred ward have on his resume

  • Thanx for posting this... used to have to watch the movie to hear it!

  • "What if" the twin towers were still standing, as shown at 0:58 seconds of this clip ???

  • This video was filmed in 1985, that's why. :o)

  • @getchasumm Yea, I wish they were still there!! Fucking good for nothing ragheads!!! I'm sure their asses are roasting in hell right now!!!

  • @ryanspeed There hell no, Ours iam sure the devil is sticking a pineapple up there asses.

  • @getchasumm yes...ive watched/listened to this countless times and I just noticed them now for the first time in a long while...

  • Loved that whole album! Tried to find it on ITunes, but couldn't find it. Love this song and all his works.

  • Love the movie...the song is good too, but Tommy's songs with STYX were much stronger.

  • Wow, what a conflict. I love Tommy's stuff in Styx, and I really want to love his solo material. But... I hear What If, Lonely School or even Girls With Guns, and think... this is the guy who wrote Foolin Yourself, Too Much Time, or She Cares? I know he was writing songs for the MTV era, and that vein of listener. And... I think his solo material is much weaker. His Damn Yankees, and even Cyclorama styx are so so so much better.

  • I love TOMMY SHAW music.Tommy is a great talent. This song is one of my favorites.Great american rock style. That´s really good music.80´s forever.

  • I was just talking about this movie at work today and the song that went with it. I just watched the movie on Netflix instant view. I can remember seeing this video over and over on MTV. I love this movie, so what if it was a box office bomb, the movie is now a cult classic. I got to see Tommy Shaw play this song live when he opened up for RUSH in 1988. Thanks for the post, make me feel a little old now.

  • You're most welcome!! Can you believe how many people have been looking for this video!! I never thought I would ever see this again!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

  • lol Remo Williams theme...ah this takes me back - makes me a little feel old tho'!! Oh well, I still love Tommy Shaw!

  • Tommy is such a great talent, singing or writing. Its amazing that he by himself was not were more popular.
