  • @02lpatelp i got mine on thursday, i had no measures and thats very weird. this week they will take those seews out

  • Im getting my nose done next month!!! and...now im scared

  • I just had a rhinoplasty yesterday. ahhhhhhh. so uncomfortable right now.

  • how'd u pay for it?

  • oh I look exactly like that right now! but they say swelling goes down in a few days.. hope so :)

  • hey, I have this in my face. Sometime my nose want to work, but it cant cuz there are the things. Then I feel uncomfortable, is it normal?

  • That's normal! I hope you're recovering well.

  • im doing it this summer. im scared though. will it hurt badly?

  • For me, pain wasn't that big of an issue. You get painkillers that work pretty well. But be prepared to be incredibly uncomfortable!!!

  • tatto is ugly.this is great.

  • Thank you for posting this video!

I've been contemplating rhinoplasty for years but I dont know anyone whom to talk to. The few people I've told think its weird, like something people in Hollywood do, not average joes. But I know I'll eventually do it. Being able to watch you do it is very reassuring in that there's at least someone I can try to relate to.

    THANK YOU!

  • Go for it, if it's really important to you and don't worry what other people think. Getting a nose job doesn't make you Michael Jackson! There are a lot of everyday people who get nose jobs and I happened to meet a couple right before my surgery.

As long as you have a good surgeon, he or she will make it look like you never had a nose job. It should be natural.

  • i had myn done about a week ago.

partly because of breathing difficulties and partly because of cosmetic reasons.

i took my cast off today. n it is not what i expected.

im not gonna go thru it again.

but i dont look how i looked before my injusry. i dont they could ever get it to look how it actually looked.

thats life, shit as it is sometimes.

  • does that hurt a lot, and how much money does it cost to have it done??

    just wondering

  • does that hurt? im planning to do the same this year...

  • about 3-5 thousand pounds...here in england...dunno how much in us.

  • It's not that painful, but very uncomfortable.

There's no set cost. It really depends on where you live and the extent of your surgery. It could be $5 to $9K.

  • you paying 9,000 for a nosejob with alot of pain ?? :P No hates...but uhh...??/

  • The procedure is uncomfortable. I wouldn't call it painful.

  • Yes , but please imagine what surgery is ... Its all cutting your nose ''away''/

  • Yeah, I wasn't in pain, just ALOT of discomfort.

  • I really wanna get one too!! I have for the past few years!! But I am so scared!! I am scared that first of all it will be very painful, I don't tolerate the pain very well! and I am also scared the surgeon will mess it up!! Also when you say it was uncomfortable?? what do you mean?? can you describe the sensation?? is it like a stuffed up nose when you have a cold? I am sorry am asking too many questions I wanna know from people who had it done before??

  • damn but 9000 bucks really?? average is between 3000-8000 average being 4500...y so expensive??

  • thank God for pin killers =]

  • hey!

I'm getting a nose job next wednesday. I'm pretty nervous, but really excited! was yours open or closed rhinoplasty? Whats it like being put under?

    i hope you'll answer this!

    thanks!

  • Sorry to take so long answering your comment. I think I overlooked it.

I had an open rhinoplasty. I wasn't nervous about the surgery itself, just the recover, so it was no problem being put under.

  • I got my rhinoplasty on march 28 of 2008 too. Just watching this takes me back to that uncomfortable first night.

  • Wow, we got ours done around the same time! Hope you love your new nose.

  • where u able to go home right after ur surgery???? or did u need a driver to take u home?

  • Definitely don't drive yourself. You'll need someone to take you home.

  • i just got my nose done and am sitting here with the cast watching your video...and its funny cause we look a lot alike..

  • How did it go? I hope well. Maybe you'll post a video too?? :)

  • ofcourse i'm posting videos!i'm getting the cast off tomarrow!

    :)

  • How is your process going? Do you like your results so far?

  • LOVE IT!!

  • hii Am 13 , I Hate The Way My Nose Looks And After Years Of Teasing By Pupils .. Am Considering Of Having A Rhino Plastly Wen Am Older ..Could You Tell Me Some Of The Risks And Was There Any Pain At All After The Surgrey . And What Was Going Through Your Mind Wen You Was Going To Have It Done , Am Just Really Curious What Would Happen If I Had One

  • Risks - It's a difficult surgery. About 1 in 5 people have to get a 2nd one. Don't go into it with the expectation that you can have a celebrity's nose. Find a good doctor to help you make realistic changes.

Pain - For me, it wasn't that bad. But I was fairly uncomfortable for the first week with all of the nasal packing.

I felt excited, anxious, and nervous prior to my surgery. But I knew I wanted to have it done. Everyday since then, I look in the mirror and love what I see.

  • Thanks Alot!

  • i'm 17 and i got it done...butttt according to the doctors, you can get a nose job at age 14!

  • well the doctors say that because they want more money.

    16 is a better age.

  • omg! thank you for posting this. youy are sooo brave! i have considering for a looong time to get my nose done, too. i am turning 16, though and i've heard from some places that that is a ok age, but other say it's too young. please i need help from you're point of view and stuff about this!

  • Hi fairyprincess,

I waited a long time before I considered my nose job. I think that you are still a bit young at 16 (your face might still be changing). I would give it a few more years so that you can consider each part of your nose you want to change. it will also give you time to research doctors.

  • hope you to get well soon... :)
