I remember those days, I used DOS too, on a Commodore C64. Later on a Leading Edge. The Mac was far superior back then, only reason I had a PC was cause my Dad got it for me and the Mac was expensive. I remember Windows 3.0, total copycat from Mac OS, even down to the card game. Yea, I paid more for my Aluminum Macbook Pro because of the construction of it. With any other PC that i've seen they seem really flimsy with all the plastic. I never knew much about the OS besides watching tutorials and other related videos. But after the learning curve... I love it. I agree with the "watch what you buy because you might save 300 right then but you'll spend like 500 in repairs" It's definitely true... "once ya go mac you don't go back"

I don't see the problem people have with apple mice. I am a strong Windows user, mostly using two-buttoned mice, but when I have to use a mac, it isn't that hard to go from right-click to control-click. Besides, you can choose for the mighty mouse to sense a right-click, last I heard.

its not hard to get a hold of Ctrl/Click, no. but its NOT easier than a 2/x>2 buttoned mouse, in any way, either. so for them to have lauded its usability as SUPERIOR, as they did, bothers me to no end.

I find chris don't get angry it's my opion yes I hate microsoft and I want them out of bussience I do not want to see there operating system. I find that the internet and Apple changed the technology including intel they changed the world of tech.

compare pc vs mac that was true given 3 years ago. There mac pro is a PC workstation tailored into there own package now. GUI was not invented by apple Steve jobs nicked it just as much as Microsoft did. the guy who built the GUI was not taken seriously and his work was ignored (IBM and DEC), typical really but Steve jobs and bill gates seen the potential. The inventors family has still not seen a penny from his work and that's the truth was never patented, sick really

No. Chris got a Director account before YouTube constrained the time. So Chris can still upload videos over 10 minutes. I think he did this for fun.

no it's not...if you were a member before ~2006 when they changed the rule for the maximum time a video can be 10 minutes, the people who already had their accounts weren't affected by this rules..

No, snow leopard retail is more than $100, only the UPGRADE for snow leopard is $25 or so. So if you have tiger, you need to pay for the full retail package which is >100 dollars

Chris,you got lots to valid points and it's great you sped things up,unlike the review on GoW for PC your buddy did.
i got stuff to respond but it's too long,but you mentioned your DOS upbringing several times so i'll just say "Bad command or file name" for parallel processing for multiple GPUs and BIOS for clock manipulation of various hardware for the mac,among many other things from a tech and consumer POV.
