Amazing production value and cinematography. The shots with the struggling fly juxtaposed with the protagonist's story are brilliant. Although a tripod may have made the footage less shaky, its arguable that the shaky camera adds a nice effect that fits with the overall mood of the video. Also, I love how you left the ending open to interpretation, even though it did a great job of tying up the different elements of the film (candle, fly) and gave it a sense of finality. Best MPS video ive seen.
I study cinema and television and can say for a fact that that is wrong. In fact, its now very common not to use a stand in many shows. See 24, for example, or boston legal, or lost.
I would add that "marioprime" was utterly respectful and receptive to the above criticism in a message exchange--with such a complex and layered song, perfecting a video is a noble pursuit, potentially neverending.
That's a pretty bold statement for someone whose videos aren't amazing by any stretch of the imagination. This guy has a much firmer grip on filming techniques than you do, so how about you give it a rest until you make something worthwile.
At least you've actually made something unlike about half of the bandwagon morons who have "criticized" this video.
I completely agree with Enaku. You really misunderstood the song, and I wished you had read the lyrics and some interpretations before launching into this project.
I think your film style is fine, not superb, and I would encourage you to practice and refine more.
Ugh. Your camera work and all that is great, but you completely fucked up the theme of the song. It's supposed to have a haunting feel to it, cold, but pretty. Not dirty insects and darkness.
I don't know. It's just your interpretation is different to the little movie I have in my head of this song.
The only thing i took issue with was the heart frame and the candle, a little to cheesy for Radiohead, other than that, i liked it.

I really agree with Enaku, i thin this video would be better for a totally a sad song;
but this song resolves, its supposed to be a sad, beautiful thing; most importantly beautiful... still quite good though

Brilliant!
It made the song more bearable to listen to. I'm not very fond of slow pace music, but hey, that's just me.
I agree with minji13. It was better than the original video.
Don't get discourage by imprudent comments. Some people are just too ignorant to know what art is all about.

U said it, it´snot right or wrong, more I agree or disagree with y´r vision.
I disagree, actually, but there´s an obvious feeling inside here that, I think, must be respected just for being honest.
