Fantastic work, the Roland D20 is not bad for it's age, not sure weather or not the drums are 12 bit sampling, the JX-8P would have really nice string and synth pads.
Hey, my setup has some similarities... :) I have a D-10 (bit modded - with wooden side panels, and blue LEDs) and a Poly-800. Apart from that I also have a Yamaha A5000 and a Roland JV-35 :o) Btw, nice song...
Thanks. The Poly-800 has a nice sound. Only problem is that it is only pseudo-polyphonic. But it is fine for solo playing and chords. I am not familiar with the other keyboards you mentioned as I primarily play organ. I use the synthesizers for the sounds that my organs are incapable of making...
It's hard to tell. That depends on what your other preferences are and if it needs to have MIDI. Personally I would go for something like a Roland from the early 80's.
still the best synthetisator I've ever played.

The JX-8P has great string sounds. But the best about this synthesizer is that everything can be adjusted by the user and saved as a user preset.

Nice bass sound. Is it coming from the D-20 or Poly 800?
